Review: I recently bought the Samsung 1.5 Ton 5 Star Inverter Split AC (2023 Model, AR18CYNZABE) and it’s impressive! The 5-in-1 convertible cooling adapts perfectly to different needs, and the AI features like welcome cooling, auto cooling, and energy savings are fantastic. Stabilizer-free operation and control via the SmartThings App add to its convenience and smart functionality. Highly recommended for anyone seeking efficiency and advanced technology in an AC!

Title: Worst experience with samsung 1.5ton 5star AC
Review: Noise level: worst ac ever experienced. So much of noise like a polythene wrapper is continuously rubbing. Annyoing and nuisance, thought it would get settled with time but no it’s worst in night. You cant sleep in this sound.Value for money : inefficient cooling, I kept on fast 16 for fast cooling for 90sqft room (1.5ton). It takes 30minutes but still affect is not good.Installation Service : worst, with AC unit there was no three core cable from point to external unit. Installation guys fixed the external cabinet in tilted. They sold stabilizer and didn’t gave bill And when we call for bill they don’t pick call or even don’t respond after seeing whatsapp message. Bad experience from samsung product and service team.After sales service: Reported cooling problem again. C4, 65 (last 6months).1st visit service person comes said i have come only with new remote. C4 error solving other person will come. Charged for remote and labour charges for visit.2nd visit service person comes and says it’s voltage/stabilizer problem without checking with multimeter. Check your voltage with electrician. I checked with external electrician about meter room,all fine with electrical power.3rd visit service person comes and says it’s pcb problem in outdoor unit. They waiting for board, next day he came with board and replaced. Still error didn’t go. Same cooling problem.After this I left for native and after coming back to Chennai Ambattur I requested for shifting + cooling problem.4th visit service person checks AC has cooling problem, now he suggests it’s gas problem. After shifting Samsung person will resolve it. Charges again 650 rupees + 18%gst5th visit service person comes and installs AC in new house, he says cooling problem call gas filling person in service centre. Cooling problem is not his job. Charges 2027 rupees.6th visit service person comes and checks cooling problem, even after sharing all history of past 5 visits, he attempts to resolve issue and finds it’s pcb and compressor problem. Charges 350 + 18% gst. He assured compressor is in warranty but there will be transport, gas filling and labour charges of 3600 rupees to be paid in next visit.

The installation team blamed inflation when asked.Stand for the outdoor unit is charged 750. The extra copper pipe, cord wire, drain pipe, clamps, etc costed 5000 as extra 3meters was needed in our home. The AC comes wit 3meter worth of these materials by the way. Thankfully, installation was free of cost.Installation team review:1. Unsatisfactory installation2. Unprofessional behavior3. Too long installation timeIncident: Drain pipe started leaking in couple of minutes after installation. We called them back immediately and they just used tape to stop the leakage at 2 places. Later that night, it started leaking again but from other places. But when called again, they refused to fix it and suggested us to use the tape.The next day, we raised a complaint to Samsung and asked them to send a senior person to visit. This new guy(professional) concluded that the drain pipes were damaged and those types of drain pipe shouldn’t have been used in the first place(as its 6m between indoor and outdoor unit). So, he replaced the whole drain pipe with PVC pipe free of charge and fixed very quickly. Its been almost 2 weeks and there’s no issue so far.
