Title: Working fine till now
Review: Ever since I have been using it, it’s working fine. picture quality is good, and signal is also up to the mark. I have been using this Digital TV HD Set top box since a month with no problems, also weather was good since then and I will check it in bad weather conditions also because mostly these STB’s give problems in bad weather conditions, till now it’s working fine.

Title: Best DTH but has a few drawbacks
Review: The delivery and installation was done on the same day that I ordered. For SD channels the picture quality is very low and also few of the channels are missing i.e AXN etc.. If you opt for HD channels the picture quality is good. The best thing about airtel DTH is you can add or remove the channels whenever you want but in other DTH services like Dish tv they have lock on the channels for 30 days, you won’t be able to remove that channel.

Review: I am from Bangalore and I have placed order on SUNDAY ,within 1 day (MONDAY ) . Afternoon i got a call for confirmation and get installed in the afternoon . Thanks seller ,and also got 1 Month Tamil plan ,This set-top box gives 1080i you need to change it to 1080p for better qualityAnd i have made many call to Airtel DTH , they are very responsive , when comparing other DTH services like SUN DIRECT AND DISH TV , they charge min Rs.190/- per month for basic plan , But airtel give you Rs.160/- per month for Basic Plan ,Advantage:1.After power on the airtel set-top box With in a 30 Sec you can start changing channel , but other DTH service they wont allow for 1 min.Disadvantage1.You cant change language on Discovery Channel , History TV etc..2.Set-top UI (Software) Not good enough because its not User friendly as like SUN DIRECT .

Title: Great service & value for money
Review: It’s totally a value for money as you get what you pay for. For me it was installed within 24 hours and I got what mentioned on the purchase page. I got HD subscription for 1 month as said..Free installation done. Didn’t pay a single rupee for that. Able to manage the account online and within app. Best part is that you don’t have to buy a plan for a month you just need to keep a balance in your account and daily deduction is done from that. If you change the plan then deduction will happen accordingly and nothing like that once a plan is purchased it can be changed only after a month.

Review: I was not sure whether opt for an offline or online purchase.Somehow I made my mind for online one and man I must tell you it was hell of an experience that how things work so fast and perfect. The installation guy was humble and didn’t ask for any extra buck.Overall an amazing experience.

Review: I am writing this review after 1 month.HD picture quality, voice quality and remote quality are very good.Features like recording need minimum 4GB pen drive and a subscription of 35/- per month which was not mentioned earlier.Bluetooth, wifi, SIM slot not available.Remote features are difficult to understand.Min HD pack is 345/- per month.Better to go with Airtel extreme.

Title: Disappointed! Update: Satisfied now!
Review: Placed the order on Friends DTH on 22.12.20 and installation was done on 23.12.20. So far so good. The quality of the dish and the mounting is pathetic as shown in the pictures. Do I blame Amazon or the seller or Airtel for selling such poor quality rusted dish? How long do they expect this dish to last and work? The technician informed that he had already informed, whomever, about the poor quality of the whole lot of 20 pieces he received (this being the best piece of the lot) but nothing was done.Update: The seller called for feed back and then assured redressal when informed about the defects. He (Friends DTH) went on calling me everyday to ascertain whether the complaint has been attended. Probably the end point service provider was not listening to him. It took a service request from me and direct intervention by Airtel to make the technician attend the complaint. Finally, the rusted dish was replaced on 05.01.2021. All is well. So the rating goes up from 2 star to 4 star.
