Title: The best book to understand appeasement and distorted history.
Review: I think this was one of the books that shook my core. If you ever want to understand patriotism and selfless dedication to the nation then go ahead and indulge in reading this. He has become my hero and the kind of respect he has generated in me for him is boundless. If history is rewritten again then this desh bhakt deserves a mention. The freedom we got is not the way it has been presented to us.Akhand bharatVande mataram!!!

Title: Strongly worded but sincere admissions of a man who considered himself a true patriot
Review: Most of us have been taught a single sided version of history, one in which Gandhi was the angel and those who opposed him were devils, whether Indian or British. That Godse killed Gandhi simply because of ideological differences. This book, recording Godseâs final statement before being hanged, tellingly reveals a deeper perspective, and points to the fact that the version of history we have been given to imbibe may be flawed or incomplete. One hopes future generations will be given a more complete and balanced presentation by being shown both sides of the picture – including due coverage of Godseâs statement in history text books.

Title: Book of errors
Review: This is so pathetic book that you will start pulling your hairs just after going through 30-40 pages. This is not because of the content of this book but because of the editingâ¦..there are so⦠so many grammer, punctuation and sentence formation errors that sometimes a simple start goes through so many punctuations that it ends in a whole paragraphâ¦.and still in the end it doesnt make any sense. What i felt is the content of this much importance should be given some respect and before printing the book there should be a proof reading. I really wanted to read the book so I am going to buy this book in HINDI hoping that may be⦠that will make some sense.

Review: Gandhiâs attitude was My way or the Highwayâ¦Indians acquire this attitude as a result of some success overseasâ¦if a successful Indian goes back home, he behaves like heâs visiting a tacky rural village and treats the natives as suchâ¦this is a kind of colonial attitude but by a fellow Indianâ¦Gandhi exhibited this attitude only in his approach to national policy issuesâ¦personally he was second to none in his simplicity and frugalityâ¦this being a main reason why he was at the topâ¦because he had the trust of all Indians – wealthy and commonâ¦even today in 2021 few can criticize him and survive in public lifeâ¦heâs treated almost Godly in certain political aspects simply because the leaders canât seem to break his strangle hold on the thought process of how India should be and conduct herself in the League of Nationsâ¦The Congress Party men then and today and many other Indian politicians fully disagree with Gandhi but for the outside world theyâll continue to behave like he was correct and above all criticism – simply because they canât measure up to his level of public austerity and incorruptibilityâ¦so he continues to be Godly in India even todayâ¦in brief Gandhi is having this Christlike fame in the world because of his personal sacrificesâ¦Another spoiler for India was both Muslim League and Gandhi didnât believe in parliamentary democracy wherein the representatives gain upper hand by the strength of their just and logical arguments and prevail upon other members and the nation to formulate policiesâ¦instead they believed in street power and both were competing with and wary of each otherâ¦on one side was the League, a political party based on religious Islamic ideology and on the other side was an old man with a stickâ¦both taking on each other on the streets of Indiaâ¦and Hindus had no other choice but to go with the old man at least for the current timeâ¦Unfortunately even today in 2021, India hasnât been able to exorcise the ghost of Gandhi from itâs polityâ¦street power can still bring a popularly elected government to its knees and force reversal of beneficial policies and replace them with draconian ones benefiting a fewâ¦Hindus even though a majority, continue to at the receiving end most timesâ¦India is the only country where a majority community has to beg the government for its rightsâ¦

Review: He did not ask for mercy. I agree with his statement about non violence, Gandhi preached a lie about non violence because I lot of violence was created due to him.
