Review: If you are willing to find a one stop solution that cover basics of all physics concepts, than this is not the book. This book is literally just an introduction of various concept, it can help u organize the concepts , u will know what to study after u read this book. Gives u an outline which u can dig deeper later. I would recommend to have another physics book with this in order to get good knowledge 😊

Review: If like me you want a refresher of everything you learned in school and a bit beyond you can’t go wrong here.The book mixes interesting accounts of how discoveries were made, very clear lessons in the principles and maths involved, lots of examples, and then questions so you can test yourself.You can jump around to topics that interest you as there isn’t a huge amount of cross over, though mathematically it does get more complex as it goes.I’ll be keeping this as a handy reference to return to in future.I wish the author did one for chemistry also.Just buy it.

Review: Ich hatte zwar Physik im Gymnasium aber damals interessierte ich mich recht wenig für das Thema. Um meine Kenntnisse wieder etwas aufzufrischen habe ich mir dieses Buch zugelegt. Aufbau ist sehr strukturiert, zu jedem Thema gibt es eine kurze Einführung mit interessanten Details, die Beispiele und Formeln werden ausreichen gut erklärt (mitdenken ist natürlich gefragt) und dank bereits gelöster Fragestellungen kann man auch die Rechenwege nachvollziehen.Zu Ende jedes Kapitels gibt es eine Art Test in dem man die gelernten Formeln in korrekter Weise einsetzen muss, so wie eine Zusammenfassung des gelernten ‘Stoffs’.Ausreichende Englischkenntnisse sind natürlich Pflicht.

Review: Excellent book, unfortunately the Grammar schools in UK ignore this and teach from some crappy paper backs – so much for educational reforms. A very good explanation of the topics covered. A book of this size cannot cover the whole of physics nor can it delve in to greater depths. But for a high school student this would be a good appetiser and has done its job very well. The author should take this as a challenge and illustrate more with more colour diagrams etc to obtain its rightful place it really deserves amongst the books for secondary school students.
