Title: Seen it all , done it all ….
Review: I have known Vivek since he was a ‘Sid’, straight from Business school. I have watched with pride his rapid climb on the corporate ladder as also his ability to multitask -as a Trekker , Author , Stand up comedian and what not . His handson experience in hard core sales as well as Brand management gives him in-depth experience and expertise on the vagaries of the corporate world as well as the conduct of the various multifaceted ‘actors’ we meet in the journey. This along with imagination and the ability to craft these thoughts in a way that captivates the reader is what makes a writer successful. I believe that Vivek has managed both these skills adeptly and that’s what make this book a very interesting read . I could relate to many of the characters and I am sure that most of you would . Title: Top Class!
Review: When I bought the book, I thought it will be having small stories about corporate situations. However when I found it was a full length novel, it was a pleasant surprise and a wow moment for me!I was engrossed by the book right from the first page. The most highlighted aspect of the book I found is the flow of the story! Vivek has written it in almost flawless manner. The story never gets stagnant at any moment and each line is taking the story to the next step. This a very rare story telling quality.Regarding contents, Vivek has nicely mixed his corporate work experience with the old Birbal stories at right place. The theme of the story itself is quite superb and well written, on the top of it, the Birbal story inclusion has made it absolutely fantastic!All the characters in the story are very well defined with extreme clarity and they stick to their identity throughout the story.One thing to improve is the paper and print quality. It should be as per corporate level!😊.Overall a classic book giving wonderful experience!

Title: Indian wisdom applied to corporate situations can lead to success
Review: It’s a very easy and exciting read and will appeal to all ages. Birbal stories have been a source of fun reading and also showcase wisdom in a simple format. Vivek has done a great job of tying the Birbal stories to a corporate situation and that has enhanced the appeal. I would recommend this to everyone as a must read !!!

Title: A start-up thriller
Review: I was expecting short stories based on Birbal’s anecdotes but I was pleasantly surprised to find a whole novel on how a great idea combined with passion and people focus can make an organization a force to reckon with. It provides the reality that is being repeated in an organisation after an organisation where people are not open to ideas, perspectives, differences and think what has made them great will continue to do so in the future. It’s the story of Sid who is passionate about his idea and follows it relentlessly and builds a great Digital ad agency from scratch , at the cost of his personal life and the love of his life, Anjali. Paul, the investor in his company is only after fame and money which leads to Sid getting a shock when he is an inflection point of making it really big. The shock and introspection makes him realise that dreams can be pursued and achieved without sacrificing your personal life. A great book by Vivek where he has touched upon the various aspects of corporate life – what works and what does not and why. A book to be read by all, whether you are working or not.P.S : Birbal stories do play a key role in Sid’s life.

Title: An engrossing light hearted read
Review: This book is a very engrossing read…you would be almost forced to read through it in a single sitting…an ideal companion for a long travel…written in such a manner that you can visualise it happening in front of you…people in Bangalore especially ones who have been part of early startups will be able to see themselves in Sid, Jo and Jee…it will take you on a nostalgic trip few years back…a definite read for people in corporate world and would make you think how the Birbal stories are still relevant in the current VUCA world and in current timeframe..has the ingredients for an OTT film/short series

Title: Amazing read!!!
Review: Corporate Birbal is an amazing read by author Vivek Vaidya. This is a story of Indian B (IIM Bangalore) school graduate who pursue entrepreneurial journey through his innovative and thoughtful mindset. Sid’s journey takes us in and out of Bangalore – the famous start up capital of India. The challenges faced by the young inexperienced Sid with spunky spirit to create something unique is very well depicted through Sid’s venture “Creativity Unilimited”. His meeting with investor, choice of employees, business sense to create unique business propositions and various paths that he takes feel like the reader is part of this journey himself. Start ups has its own challenges as scale goes up and Creativity Unilimited is not an exception to it. As the greed of investor takes the organization to different path that loses the core foundation of the business. This detour of Creativity Unlimited is very thoroughly depicted in book. The challenges faced by Creativity Unlimited, its employees and emotional tubulence of Sid takes us through its upheaval. At various junctures, challenges faced by Sid have solutions in the form of Birbal stories which many have enjoyed in childhood. Thesw stories comes to rescue of Sid all the time.The situations and places in this book takes us through byelanes of Bangalore. These stories appears just like it was happening next door to some of our friend.Very engaging tale of Enterpreneurship, lessons learned through Birbal stories and transformation after a hiatus, this is very engaging must read!!!!

Review: Having grown up in Bengaluru and being a consultant myself, I was mesmerised by the finer details in this book. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book and it has everything right from growth mindset, day to day corporate world challenges, romanceetc. The icing on the cake was birbals anecdotes and how Vivek has linked it to the challenges faced by Sid. MUST READ.
