Review: I enjoyed everything about this book. It was actually a fun book. Of course it had it’s dark moments, but the characters were so much fun. The story flowed. Based on the synopsis, I thought it would have had a lot more angst, but the H was a lot more sensitive than I thought he would have been. The book seemed a lot more current in terms of emotions and relationships.

Review: This was a very well-written, cohesive, believable story. (As believable as a Harlequin Romance can be that is.) The main characters were fully developed and both had strong personalities. The reader is treated to both points of view from the H and h which I always like better than a one-sided story. It was very refreshing to watch the H transform and realize his growing feelings for the h. His confusion and reluctance to acknowledge his attraction was a main focus and it was fun to have so much information from the male viewpoint. I also liked the h. She was no push-over who caved at the first sight of a sculpted chest and a fiery kiss. She held her own and really made the H work for the relationship. I heartily recommend this book.

Review: This is the 2nd book in the series and it was okay. The h was a good person, she sometimes came off as whiny and insecure. They knew each other from school and she had been attracted to him back then. She comes to work for the H and ends up marrying him to seal a business deal. The H was cocky, arrogant and handsome, his childhood was very toxic. Both parties had childhood trauma that sometimes dragged on and on. Good ending.
