Title: worst laptop
Review: worst product for booting it takes more than 15 fifteen minutes very very slow and having worst experience eventechnician came to resolve this but he could not do so hence we returned but nobody has turned up.

Title: Better than expected
Review: This T430 is has been refurbished very nicely.Pros:1. The seller has already upgraded the screen to FHD panel (1600×900), included a 9-cell 94Wh battery, and a fast 90W charger.2. All hardware is working perfectly.3. Very good communication with the seller. 6 month seller warranty.4. Genuine Windows 10 included.5. Extremely well pricedCons:None so far.Within few hours of use I have already fallen in love with this beast.

Title: Could have been way better
Review: I purchased this assuming that it will be very good as it was a Thinkpad and I used previous one brand new one before as office laptop but when I received this product, it didn’t meet expectation. The display was broken from one side at the bottom nearby one hinge and and display was splitting, which was a common problem in previous generation thinkpads. The display resolution was very poor, it did say that in specs that it’s 1600×900 but was 1366×768, even though that is theoretically not poor but somehow on this laptop, it was very poor looking. I called the customer care of product but I couldn’t reach them (may be on weekends they are closed) so I asked amazon for return, technician visited and confirmed the issues and I was able to successfully return the product. May be due to hard luck I received defective product but it could have been checked for at least external damage to display if not display resolution.

Title: Value for money
Review: During COVID lockdowns, my personal laptop died on me. With all other modes of getting a new laptop currently unaccessible, I was searching for value for money and thus opened my mind for refurbished laptops.First, I would like to be realistic. This is a refurbished product with very old specs. So I expected things to be not so perfect. There are plenty of USB ports. Some worked some didn’t. Wasn’t a deal breaker for me so far.Secondly 4GB RAM may be less for most people’s requirements. Windows 10 +4GB is not the best combo in my humble opinion too. I had an old spare laptop whose additional 4GB memory stick is what I added to this laptop. I also don’t use Windows so installed Linux. This total 8GB set up for minimalist Linux distro works for most of my usecases.Thirdly, if you have used laptops with SSD, you will see boot times to be a bit slow.Fourth, the camera has less than optimal resolution. If you are on many video calls, others will notice this difference. I usually don’t login for video calls.Fifth, please note this is i5 machine (not i7) with total 4 cores. I had better specs in the past. So for me speed difference is sometimes noticeable. I compile lots of code for work and for hobby. Slowness/Speed difference is visible.Sixth, bluetooth works. Wifi reception is at decent speed. Even using linux, key board backlighting works which was a pleasant surprise for me. Did not need to use HDMI yet. Hoping not to need one for my use cases. There is CD ROM, perhaps in future I may want to use SSD in its place (as HDD feels a bit laggy). I have spare external hard disks for storage so I don’t have an opinion about 1TB disk that comes with this laptop. I could have lived with 256GB too.Since, I knew which product I was buying, after looking at its tech specs, for my use cases – this laptop was perfect with my mitigation of spare RAM and minimalist linux distro that I had. After configuring it to my requirements, for validity I showed it to my wife. She found it to be a bit slower than her SSD based laptop. 1600×900 resolution is perhaps the minimal acceptable for me (my usecase). My wife is used to higher resolutions, she complained of low resolution. Keep all of this in mind.In summary, one or two USB ports not working properly is not a deal breaker for me. For casual browsing you can give it a try without burning hole in your pocket. Assuming you are Indian sitting in India reading this review, you know where to procure better specificiations laptops for same price .

Review: The laptop received has damaged bluetooth adaptor. Damaged battery. Laptop turns off immediately after disconnecting power supply. Seller (Used.Yet.New) instead of battery replacement, misleads by saying it will be solved in 24 Hours after doing a software update. The laptop starts very slow. Not as per description.

Title: It’s Horribly pathetic!!
Review: Earlier I gave 5 star, because I didn’t see it’s flaws.After a month, it’s CPU fan broke with all blades scattered. They fixed it with another secondhand fan, and after the technician left, I used it for couple of minutes it was fine, after 2-3 days when I used it again, then the left speaker stopper working, and after a week of that the right speaker volume went so low that I had to touch my ear on it to listen to anything, while this was happening, the touchpad became sticky and every 5-10 minutes the touchpad would freeze, and as of now the laptop won’t even start from last 2-3 days. So, in short, don’t buy the laptop from this company.
