Title: DO NOT BUY – Cooker lid just exploded off
Review: We’ve used the cooker for two months so far, and the lid exploded off spewing scalding water and rice all the way to the ceiling. If somebody had been near, they’d be burned. The whistle was working, the safety valve was fine. The lid was properly closed. It just came off under pressure splattering rice all the way to the ceiling. The plastic handle of the lid broke – not sure if that is from landing on the floor or when the lid came off – everything happened too fast.
