सुधा मूर्ति का जन्म 19 अगस्त 1950 को हुआ था। वह एक लेखिका और एक सक्रिय भारतीय सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता हैं।

वह एनजीओ, इन्फोसिस फाउंडेशन का नेतृत्व करती हैं और वह गेट्स फाउंडेशन की पब्लिक हेल्थ केयर इनिशिएटिव्स की जूरी भी हैं। सुधा मूर्ति ने हुबली से इंजीनियरिंग की डिग्री पूरी की।वह कर्नाटक में पहली बार आई थी। इस उपलब्धि को कर्नाटक के सीएम ने स्वर्ण पदक से पुरस्कृत किया।उसने कंपनी के चेयरपर्सन, जेआरडी टाटा को एक पत्र भी लिखा था, जिसमें टाटा मोटर्स में लैंगिक पक्षपात की शिकायत थी।वह 7 साल तक पुणे में रहीं, जिसके बाद वह मुंबई चली गईं। यह INR 10,000 की उसकी बचत थी जिसने इन्फोसिस की स्थापना में योगदान दिया; एन.आर. नारायण मूर्ति हमेशा इस तथ्य का गर्व के साथ उल्लेख करते हैं, जब भी उनसे पूछा जाता है कि उन्होंने इन्फोसिस की नींव कैसे रखी।सुधा मूर्ति वास्तव में टाटा मोटर्स, पुणे में चयनित होने वाली पहली महिला इंजीनियर थीं।

Title: Indian goddesses as a form of women empowerment
Review: Mythology is a genre which I can pick up automatically. On top of that, Sudha Murthy is my auto-buy author. Her writing style is always simple, too easy to understand so that even the children and beginners can read it. I had great expectations for this book and it definitely did not disappoint me.This amazing book is about the wonders done by female gods as we call them goddesses. We frequently come across the stories of Sita, Draupadi, and the women of Mahabharata. But the valor of our goddesses are not widely known. Laxmi, Amba, Saraswati, Parvati were all women who were perceived less in strength because of the notion that women can’t do a few many things. These 24 tales of the bravery of these women are proof that a war can be won by a person deserving of victory irrespective of their gender.Furthermore, the illustrations makes the book more beautiful, which is like an icing on the cake. This is a book about a few legends by a legendary writer.

Title: An Outstanding Read!

Review: The book is written in Sudha Murthy way… an easy and understandable text in an absolutely amazing way which which makes it more interesting… The book contains stories bout women and her contribution in the ancient India, I definitely loved this just as most of Sudha’s stories
