Review: I was surprised that this product was immediately available, granting that Xiaomi has changed the orientation of certain buttons in their new line up of 2024 X-series TVs. You pay for quality, and you get it with this product. This is also a review after about a month of a use, and tried ansd tested by my toddler dropping it once from the height of a sofa seat. No damages at all. It adds more form and function to the remote. The only downside I would say is that because the thickness of the material is about the same as that of the depth of the buttons, so now everything is plush and uniform–initially you might feel the loss of that tactile click of the bare remote, but now I’m used to it. Bottom line for for it. Just make sure you choose the right model/button layout. The lanyard strap comes with the cover and is a nice add-on to go alongwith. Happy shopping.PS. The remote is new and I managed to squeeze it back to it’s original plastic cover along with the cover. That’s why it appears glossy while it is not.
