Title: Lets get the fact cleared from fiction
Review: I am baffled looking at the rating for the system (3.4 at the time of writing this review) considering multiple outlets declared this laptop as the best laptop of 2023. Also, a much inferior LOQ of similar configuration is sitting at a higher rating (4 as of now) than this model which is shocking considering they are 45% NTSC screen which is shocking for a laptop worth 1 lakh INR. So let’s get it cleared first right why such a mediocre review and what’s the real deal here? First of all my review will be focussed towards the 1TB 4060 model (82Y9009JIN). There are huge differences between this and other models clubbed on amazon page. So let’s take each negative review highlighted one at a time right:1. No RGB, felt cheated despite advertising on amazon page – This is by far the most recurrent con I have read and well thats on amazon and doesn’t mean Lenovo is cheating. Among the models clubbed on the purchase page only 82Y9009JIN is RGB rest are all white backlit. When buying laptop from third-party sellers please refer to the original product information listed on company website. For lenovo models search “PSREF lenovo” and search with the model number to get the most accurate information.2. High boot time – I never had such an issue. I have been constantly getting less than 6sec bootup time despite running all the spotifys and steams on startup. I have attached screenshot to show my BIOS bootup time. In an SSD setup a high boot time is very unlikely. Either you have loads of startup apps or there’s some fault in your OS/laptop.3. GPU working mode doesn’t work – Works perfectly fine for me as intended. I mostly switch between hybrid and dedicated modes. To check the battery capacity I let it once run on igpu solely and the battery backup i got was 7 hours before dying which is amazing for a gaming laptop and speaks volume about the power efficient Ryzen processor.Now let’s come to the actual review part for the model. The laptop is fantastic. The screen is gorgeous to look out and supports 140W type C charging if you don’t want to carry the 230W brick with you. I will not get into fps for each and every game. There are tons of videos for that on Youtube. I have been playing Ghost of Tsushima and getting 60+ all maxed out with DLSS ON on 1600P with 70°C which is pretty good out of the box without any sort of tuning. I feel based on the features provided this is the best 4060 model out on market (unless you go for the more expensive 5 pro models). Overall a great gaming laptop. But nothing is perfect so here are the cons as per me:1. Laptop supports 140W type C charging but needs to be bought separately which is a bummer2. Laptop has a full SD card slot but read and write speeds are pathetic3. Laptop has 4 zone RGB but the brightness is very weak even at max with limited customisation4. Bloatwares – comes with McAfee and multiple Lenovo apps. My suggestion uninstall all lenovo apps even vantage software. Instead, download legion toolkit much more minimalistic and less taxing on resources.5. Audio software nahimic is okay. My previous legion 5 gave dolby atmos for free. I would suggest get atmos for better headphone sound or look for alternative software.6. The Unboxing experience (while not a big deal) is pretty meh especially paying such a good amount. The laptop and charger are literally wrapped in a see through plastic bag.Happy gaming guys!

Title: Nice one, Good & balanced machine !
Review: Got it for 1.32 Lakhs on 8 Dec, 2023 with Ryzen 7 7840HS + RTX 4060 + 16 GB DDR 5 (5600 Mhz) + 1 TB Gen 4 SSD.Pros :1. Gaming performance is great. With google chrome browsing & youtube you can easily get 4 hrs+ battery back up. So, better energy efficient than i7 13700H & HX and of course less heating compared to Intel counter part. But slightly less powerful.2. RTX 4060 is also an efficient one. It shows here on amazon140W TGP, but it will never reach there because it doesn’t ever need that much power to operate. It can max out at around 115 Watt with easily outperforming 135 Watt 3060 Ti. So, here’s also less heating. You can check international reviews about this thing.3. Colour is 100% SRGB and in-built blue light filter helps you a lot.Cons :1. Boot time not upto the mark, a little bit slow compared Intel machines.2. Has some bugs on sleep mode !3. It has Nahimic 3 audio, but you know the software just sucks (with every machine though) !Overall: 4 out of 5 Stars.

Review: other brands have same specifications at around 1.1L but this at 1.5L is expensive but if you think about 3 year warranty + build quality then it may be good compared at others but it is definitely not worth extra 40k

Title: Performance as expected. Hybrid GPU mode doesn’t work
Review: Performance as expected. Boot time is not as fast as expected. Lower end IdeaPad gaming laptop had faster boot time. Both hybrid and auto hybrid GPU configurations are faulty, they boot into black screen after each shutdown and require a hard reboot to turn on properly. Only igpu and dgpu modes work. Therefore, Anyone who’s usecase is always plugged in like me should reconsider their purchasing decision.The charger is a 230w brick, so make sure you are using rated extension cords if you are using one along with other similar laptops.I recommend that you buy a cooling pad either passive or active and a ports extender for creative professionals and ai/ml professionals. The default nvidea drivers installed are gaming versions, recommend to switch to studio drivers.PSA: There is a McAfee bloatware bundled with this laptop. Please make sure you don’t accidentally install it and promptly uninstall any that got through.Thanks.
