Title: Bad Experience
Review: Very Bad Service from Amazon..AC was delivered on 24th but still i have not assigned any techinician for installation..I have called amazon customer care 2 times but they are also not able to find the solution..They told me to contact hitachi customer care but unfortunately hitachi is also not reachable..If you cannot solve a simple problem then u should stop selling that product on your website..I’m so disappointed this time

Title: Little bit noisy but feature rich ac machine
Review: Delivery was made on time at the preferred location (first floor) and installation service was very much to the level of full satisfaction. Men involved, both delivery and installation, were very pleasing and very kind. As it is all human related, this may vary from place to place and person to person.Other than the machine cost, additional Rs 2500 has to be spent for stabilizer (though on the web page they say no need, but in the manual it is advised to have one), plus wiring cost if there is a need and also installation cost. Wiring and installation cost may vary according to the real condition and requirement.The unit came with all required accessories that includes 4 core heavy cable – 10 feet approx., set of copper tubes – each 10 feet approx., frames, screws etc.,Hitachi has made this ac machine as an idustrial purpose machine with no fancy features but what ever that is given has a real purpose.Liking about this machine is, it achieves the set temperature in reasonable time and maintains the same by + or – 0.5 degrees. Korean company ac that is installed in another room, fluctuates between + or – 2 degrees. Note that, there is no quick or turbo modes, you have to wait for atleast 10 minutes to feel the cool.Comparing to a 20 db ac, this Hitachi machine gives lit bit louder noise, but still it is very less comparing to a ceiling fan, while Noise level of AirCooler used to be terrible.There is no temperature display and you have to depend on other devices to find the temperature inside the room. Wall clock with temperature display will be better option to have.There is no option to put OFF indicator light. With indicator light ON, you cannot sleep, as it is very bright. So, put a small bit of insulation tape on it (only on the orange light) to stop the light focussing on the eyes.There is only 2 way swing. But for a small room, even a 2 way swing has no purpose and Hitachi advises not to use continously the swing feature. So, not having the feature of 4 way swing does not cause any trouble, even if it is there, there will be no purpose of it in a 110sq.ft room, other than consuming additional energy.When ever there is power cut and resume, the machine starts atuomatically in the set mode with the set temperature. Though this feature is mandatory to have, it also has a negative side. That is, if there is no power while leaving the room, there is no option to switch off the ac using remote. You have to switch off the mains switch without forgetting to do so. This machine, even in standby mode, consumes 8 watt power. So, always remember to swich off the mains supply when machine is not in use.Cleaning dust filter is so simple and adding electrostatic air filter is easy. No technical person support is required as it is just pull and place.Every time after switching off the machine using Remote, it runs in BLOW mode (only fan runs) for additional 3 minutes to pump out the cool that remains in the coil. This feature helps in avoiding bad smell, coils getting dirty and also avoid other problems that may araise due to water condensing on coils.Remote it easy to operate and no confusing features. There is Fan mode, Dry mode and Cool Mode. Other than these, there is Auto mode. Using only Cool mode as it maintains the temperature at set level.Remote has backlight, which is very important feature that helps change temperature during night without switching on other bright lights. Remote buttons also has Phosphorescence. This helps locating the buttons in dark.Overall the machine is worth buying.
