Review: Called up 10 times for installationCall disconnects after spending 15 min with agent expalining model nunber and othet detailsDo not buy Hitachi – It is my advise (not because of AC quality but other equally Important aspects – customer service and installtion related)I was wondering why people are not buying Hitachi when I saw very few views and purchase hits on amazon app compared to other brands and this explains – Poor customer sevice and equally substandard installation teamI was charged whopping 5200/- for installtion which is 17 percent of AC costBill does not mention make of additionalCopper pipes , cable and standIt is shame to know brand like Hitachi deploying below par customer care and substandard installtion team or franchiseHitachi should Audit bill and Refund exorbitant amount charged for installation before I file complaint with consumer forum to get refund and suitable compensation 10 times that of bill

Title: Not worth It, Think Hard before making up your mind
Review: Product is good, no question on the quality of Hitachi. It’s clean & elegant design, powerful inverter technology. Just two issues – Battery is not included and plug is not provided. For a 33K AC why Hitachi is not providing a plug? In other countries the same brand provides them but why not in India?The main problem is with installation. The installation is outsourced to franchisees and they target customers for milking unjustified money from them. Spare parts are almost double / triple the cost what you get on Amazon. Even if you buy them separately, they will not entertain you. It’s MUST that you buy from them for an enormous price.Overall my installation costs me 7k which according to me can be done in 2-2.5 k from outside. So I’ll recommended you think about this and then decide if it’s worth it or not. The average estimated installation cost would come up between 7k to 9k (according to these technicians estimates as they told me the same)Suggestion to Amazon team to come up with some protection from customer from this unjustified charges otherwise customers will buy from offline stores. The cost benefit Amazon is providing to customers is getting diluted by these enormous installation charges.Final thoughts, If I would have to buy another, I’ll probably go for offline stores because it’s overall less than Amazon.

Title: Good, not great. Remote is awesome.
Review: Likes:1: Cooling happens smoothly as you would expect from a 1 ton AC. It’s fitted in a normal size bedroom(120 sq ft).2: remote is outstanding and display is backlit. This helps a LOT in the night when you have to change settings.3: Great ergonomics of the remote and you can easily find the buttons in the dark. It’s not at all cluttered.Dislikes1: Beyond fan speed 3 the AC is not silent and makes noise which disturbs the sleep.2: Manual is a joke.3: I felt the outdoor unit noise is a bit high.

Title: Beware of Unprofessional AC Installation Service
Review: I recently had a dreadful experience with an AC installation service that I feel compelled to share. From the moment the technician arrived, it was evident that professionalism was not part of their agenda. Not only did they display a lack of basic courtesy, but their behavior was downright appalling.The technician’s incompetence was glaringly obvious as they struggled to complete the installation. They seemed more interested in cutting corners than ensuring the job was done correctly. To make matters worse, their demeanor was rude and disrespectful.What truly shocked me was their blatant attempt to extort money from me. Throughout the process, they continuously pushed for unnecessary upgrades and additional services, all at exorbitant prices. It was clear they were more concerned with their own profit margins than providing honest and reliable service.Overall, my experience with this AC installation service was beyond disappointing. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to proceed with extreme caution. It’s unfortunate that such unprofessionalism and dishonesty exist in the service industry, but it serves as a reminder to always thoroughly research and vet companies before entrusting them with your business.
