He’s a Wall Street wolf. She’s been hired to tame him. From New York Times bestselling author Lauren Layne comes a wildly sexy novel of business and pleasure.

Twenty-eight and filthy rich, Matt Cannon is the youngest broker on Wall Street. He may be a “boy wonder,” but he’s every inch a man. Ask any woman—any night. But when Matt’s latest fling makes scandalous headlines, his clients get anxious, and his bosses at Wolfe Investments level an ultimatum: keep his assets zipped, get a “real” girlfriend, and clean up his act. Only one woman can help Matt with something this hard.

For PR genius Sabrina Cross, the best fixer in Manhattan, playing Matt’s steady is going to be a challenge, even if it’s just for show. They already have an explosive history, she can’t stand the cocky party boy, and worse—she can’t stop thinking about him. So who’ll dare to break her “no touching” rule first? Because when that happens, Matt and Sabrina’s game of let’s pretend will get so hot it could set both their reputations on fire.

Title: Matt & Sabrina have become my favourite in the series!
Review: This is the second book in the 21 Wall Street series and it follows the story of Sabrina Cross, the sharpest fixer and Matt Cannon, one of the investment brokers along with his friends- Ian Bradley and Kennedy Dawson. I really love the enemies to lovers trope a lot, throw in some second chance and fake dating, for me, it becomes a delight to read!”I offer them solutions. For a price, yes, but I don’t deal in extortion. I’m upfront with how I work and what they can expect from me from the very beginning.”Matt has been recently caught in a scandal during his cousin’s bachelorette party and now his bosses want him to fix his reputation by finding a good woman to be at his side. But, Matt doesn’t believe in love and marriage due to some of the relationships he encountered in his past and he goes to his friends to ask for help. Ian being Sabrina’s childhood bestfriend, suggests Matt to get help from her.”My friends are right. She is the last woman on earth to be at risk of falling for me. Because Sabrina Cross hates my guts.”Unfortunately for Matt, one encounter gone wrong between them four years ago has made Matt & Sabrina mortal enemies who are constantly at each other’s throats. Too bad for Matt, Sabrina also doesn’t believe in love and she’s the only person whom he can trust fully to not fall in love with him because of the obvious animosity between them. But, you know what they say, there’s a fine line between love and hate and that’s what exactly happens in Matt & Sabrina’s case.“I want you because you’re my mortal enemy, Sabrina.” “Why?” His eyes lock on mine. “Because of all the women in my life, you’re the one I can count on to never fall in love with me.”It was too entertaining to see them fight their feelings and constantly question whether whatever they were doing together was real or not and their constant banters made the book have it’s own charm. When I first read about Sabrina in the first book of the series, I was sure that I’m going to love her and I was right! She was strong, confident, independent, sassy but also vulnerable, alone and in need of someone to love, (whether she admitted that to herself or not.) Matt was a really good guy. He was kind, considerate, total book boyfriend material but a total tool when it came to his feelings. Sometimes, I just wanted to get into the book and shake him to make him realise what he’s doing. He frustrated me but at the same time, I enjoyed the angst that was created in those situations.”I don’t believe in love—but I do believe in friendship. And these girls right here are as good as it gets.”Overall, the chemistry was intense and tension between Matt & Sabrina was sorching hot. I loved the side characters. The bond that the girls- Lara, Sabrina and Kate formed with each other in such a short time was heartwarming. They found a family in their friends and now I’m going to read Kate & Kennedy’s book next. I recently saw that Lauren is going to write a book about Jarod and I’m definitely interested to see who he will get paired up with .

Review: 4 – 4.5 stars!!This is the second book in the Wall street series and my first book by the author!!This is a complete stand alone, And i really enjoyed this book that i cant wait to read the first book in the series!!!This is an enemies to Lovers romance.. Not the usual typical one, but thoroughly enjoyable one..Matt and Sabrina actually share a very unique relation.. Enemies with Benefits!!!An incident in their past had made them bitter towards each other.. They make each other crazy but their attraction towards each other is off the charts!!!Matt and Sabrina try to avoid each other… However, when Matt lands himself in a situation and ends up in a mess with his employment, he seeks help from Sabrina who is amazing with PR skills..Matt needs a girl friend for a while to get his reputation intact in his firm Wall Street.. And Sabrina is the only one he trusts with that job!!Both Matt and Sabrina are not much of believers in relationships and that is the reason they get into this pretending agreement.. However, once they get into the act, they realize they dont hate each other, but actually have more things in common including their past that made them hate relationships n love!!Eventually they do fall for each other unknowingly and the whole way they realize and get their HEA was awesome!!!I loved the writing and the flow of the story was so enjoyable that i couldnt stop until i finished it!!!I cant wait for the next book about Kennedy and Kate!!!

Review: So book two is about Matt and Sabrina, both of whom we got to know from book one, Hot Asset.Whereas Sabrina is Ian’s best friend, from their childhood in Philly, Matt is his best friend from work. They started at Wolfe Investments together, along with Kennedy, and all three have been inseparable since. Partying together, horn dogs the whole lot. They work hard and play hard!!But for the last four years both of his best friends, Sabrina and Matt, have constantly bitched and sniped at each other every single time they see each other. This of course is irritating for the rest of their close circle of friends, Lara, Kate, Ian and Kennedy.Thing is, four years earlier, Sabrina and Matt gave into their attraction to each other and that was great, woohoo 🍾🍾🍸🍸🍷🍷🌠🌠That is until the very next morning, when Matt opens his mouth and cuts Sabrina to the core….cue hell on earth 🌪🌩⚡🌩I love this story as it goes from friends to lovers to frenemies and it’s funny and sweet and bitchy, let’s face it what more do we wanf??WHAT?!?!You want a HEA as well?? Darn your demanding.Well if you want that then you’d better buy the book and find out if you’ll get it!lNow along with the book comes the audio as well and we have two brilliant narrators reading again for this series. Ms Samantha Cook and Zachary Webber. They are two fantastic narrators, able to give each character their own voice and actually have kept them the same from Hot Asset, which is actually unusual. Normally the leads would be the same in each book, so I love this. And ladies, Zachary has a voice that makes you swoon and eyelashes flutter!! I’d be happy to have him whisper sweet nothings in my ears all day and night, you get me?? 😉😉🙈🙈So my advice is such…..But both the book and audio and relax and enjoy, I know I did and now for Kennedy and Kate 😉😉😇😇

Review: My second book by Lauren Layne, second in this series and maybe even better then the first one. I really enjoyed it. Funny, steamy, feels genuine, strong characters, great storyline, makes sense and is easy to ready and stay interested. I was surprised when I finished the book! I only wish there was an audiobook as for the first and the third books in this series. I originally found this series because of Zachary Webber, who I absolutely adore as narrator, he’s one of the best voices I have ever had the pleasure to listen to. Still loved this story even without the audio experience! Thank you!

Review: Really enjoyed the story of Matt and Sabrina. They started out as lovers but Matt said something that triggered Sabrina’s insecurities. After that they constantly argued until Matt needed a life makeover. Since this was Sabrina’s speciality Matt hires her. From there they learn more about each other and start having deep feelings for each other but will their rough childhood memories hold them back?
