Review: After reading tips for the final round of preperation a from Quora, due to many people’s advises I ordered it due to this exam postponement, the price difference between ebook and the printed hardbook is ₹5 , it’s stupid , Arihant should make the ebooks cheaper , I would’ve definitely ordered ebook if it weren’t for this small difference, because delivery during this pandemic is a headache of its own .Anyways I recieved the package in a really good condition yesterday(handbook of bio , chemistry),Thanks to Amazon for that . I read this book a few chapters in the span of the last 24 hrs , here’s my review of the book :It’s Good , really good , dry ncert topics are given in an interesting form , like concept maps and diagrams, i have went through both aakash and Allen material in the last year , this handbook has content from both of the books .There are many downsides to the book too, I’ll get to them quickly, the thing is , it does not stick to ncert (I thought it has content full of ncert only) it had a loooot of extra useless information (yes I am aware that neet questions are asked from outside ncert , but only a couple questions , but for that 8 marks , I don’t think you have to read so much useless information, these revision type of books should totally avoid this extra info and stick to ncert) many stuff from Aakash and Allen are there as I mentioned , chapters like animal kingdom and neurology have a lot of useless classification and explanation (I mean more tham required for NEET level)I don’t know how to stress this enough ,but , here’s the most important point : *THIS BOOK DOES NOT CONTAIN EVERYTHING FROM NCERT* , obviously a lot of important content is missing, for example , it does not say igG is transferred through colostrum , and it’s from those important content that questions are being asked in exams .So final verdict :BUY THE BOOK, if you studied from outside books like (aakash , Allen, Trumans biology , Dhinesh publications etc .) for the whole year , it gives a good revision of one whole chapter in a short 10-15 min span of time , yes just 15-25 pages per chapter in this tiny novel size study guide.PLEASE DONT BUY THE BOOK:1) if you are sticking to only ncert , didn’t study much the whole year , used only ncert2) if you went to Aakash/Allen/any other coaching and didn’t concentrate on studies enough , and you’re getting 200-250 or lesser in bio , DON’T BUY THIS HANDBOOK, for those students my advise is read ncert bio as many times as possible , it’s hard , but it’s really really useful , trust me on this one ,don’t use any sidebooks for bio , just solve previous year and MTG ncert at your fingertips . buy this book only if you are getting 300-320+ in bio , I’m saying so because If you’re getting 300+ you have good control over the topics and you have read the ncert/coaching material enough times , your head is saturated , so you can read the same high level content in an interesting form like this book and still retain the information.Again , I can’t stress this enough DON’T BUY THIS BOOK IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST READ , I WILL RECCOMEDED TO USE THIS BOOK AS YOUR THIRD OR FOURTH REVISION , make your own notes while studying , don’t use this book , it doesn’t have all ncert content , it has many useless outside ncert info and lacks some NCERT points ,it’s a total waste of your parent’s money and your time while you are studyingNot a book that I reccomeded for first read, don’t touch this till you have studied ncert atleast 2-3 times and are familiar with the topic.
