Title: Quite Good Window AC
Review: I am writing these reviews after using of almost 15 days, ac is quite good build quality, little bit noisy but all the window AC as same noisy. Cooling is good even at 27° to 28°C temperature give you good cooling. Remote should be built with backlight display for using in dark. Delivery is very fast and in time and same day ac has been installed by the carier company representative and the engineer very cooperative and very knowledgeable done the installation very fast manner.

Gift it to your enemy to make their lives miserable.**Installation**Had a pathetic installation where they quoted me a different amount and charged a different amount.I paid 3400 for installation. This was a simple installation with only two wooden pieces and drilling into the window frame required. Carrier washed their hands off saying we only connect you with technicians. Carrier is not responsible for what the technician does.ASM for Pune, Mr. Abhimanyu had assured me that he will give a call immediately after going through facts. I am still waiting even after a week.In fact, my account and feedback was deleted from the system to avoid addressing my complaint.**Noisy like a train screeching to a halt**Anyhoo, bad installation experience aside, this thing started to make such a loud noise that it has become impossible to sleep even in the next room. This is with fans running on full speed.I was surprised to learn that Carrier India is now a Chinese company with people from China as executives. Not sure if the quality has gone down because of this being a Chinese company or the pathetic culture of not prioritising customer experience resulted in them being bought out.Either way, I had purchased two ACs from Carrier before. Never again.

Title: Loud, poor installation and bad customer service
Review: So, I’ve been using this AC for a month now and I mostly regret its purchase.Let’s start with installation, since the window where it was to be installed was about 4mm smaller than required – it needed to be lightly shaved off on one side. Carrier outright told me they would do 0 carpentry work on a window AC install and I’d have to look for a carpenter myself and arrange it somehow. Carpentry is what the install mostly entails, if I’m calling the carpenter twice (once before, and once after) – what am I paying the installation charges for ? Them screwing in a bunch of screws on the window ? The least they could’ve done is arranged for an end to end service at a cost, I am not in the business of installing ACs – they are.Speaking of the screws, since carrier so politely told me they’d void the window ac warranty on a third party install – I gave in – the person who actually came in just hammered in the screws instead of actually screwing them in. He didn’t securely mount the stabilizer, neither were the actual wires connected properly to the stabilizer. As a result the stabilizer came lose 5 minutes after he was gone and believe me when I say this – the AC turned off abruptly.All of this felt like such a rip off that I was already dissatisfied with the purchase, on top of this – the AC is pretty loud. Everybody expects window ACs to be somewhat loud, but new ACs shouldn’t creak when you turn on the swing mode – the filter shutter shouldn’t be loose, etc.I deeply regret this purchase and I wish I’d bought a voltas split instead like I got for the other room. I’m rating it 3 star because despite being loud and inefficient – it at least works … for now.
