Review: I am on my second one of these replacements — not because of problems, but because my dog thinks these are a great snack item.My TV occasionally needs to re-sync to it (easy enough to do), and the first one did start to have some problems with the volume control, but the bottom line is it does the job of controlling my Samsung TV as advertised. Better than having to try and get another one out of Samsung.

Review: It replaced the older remote just fine. Many models look similar, but selecting the matching one has everything working.The Infra Red (IR) for the volume stopped working after 3 months. Waiting on seller to learn about the warranty.Received a warranty replacement, Thank you very much. The IR still did not work. Bought an original Samsung remote and it too did not have a working IR. Found out that when the remote is linked, the IR is disabled, but when not linked the IR to the soundbar works. Samsung must have downloaded a “feature” in December to disable the IR when linked to extend battery life. Many soundbars can get the volume adjustment over the optical link, but mine does not. So no problem with the remote even though I now have two.
