Title: Beautiful.
Review: The size of the book is kinda small but THATS GREAT! You can carry such a small book with eaze. The story is AMAZING! The way Dostoevsky writes is just beautiful, this story in particular is enough to make you cry.Definitely try this book out!

Review: Book Name- “White Nights” 🤍🩶🖤Author- Fyodor DostoyevskyPublisher- @penguinclassicsGenre- Classic fictionPages- 128“That’s just what needs to be done, to listen everywhere and not just in one part, in order to come to an understanding.”🍁This book is just so beautiful beyond words. Recently I heard lot of readers talking about this book and immediately I thought to grab this one and I can say that I have done a great job by doing so because a reader definitely need to read this book for a beautiful story. Along with “White Nights”, there is also another story, “Bobok” that I enjoyed. This is the MOST romantic book I’ve ever read and I’ve devoured it so fast! I didn’t saw the time past, I was immerse at the sentiments of the main character that when I stop reading I’ve reached the end. White Nights and Bobok, are the two short stories that typify Dostoyevsky’s complexity. Here, we have as narrator a lonely man who thinks he is going to win the hand of a young woman he meets by chance because she appears vulnerable and in need of his manly wisdom and understanding, only to find that she’s in love with another man. What a shock that is for the narrator. And it’s an even bigger shock when the man she loves reappears and off she goes, leaving the narrator to contemplate a life of utter loneliness and despair. So what? You might ask. But this story was written in 1848 when Dostoyevsky was just 27. It was written at a time when men were supposed to go out into the world, thrusting their way, making something of themselves with their womenfolk trailing obediently behind them. In the Victorian era real men were not supposed to be lonely, isolated, timid, shy, and acting as though their whole reason for being was dependent on the whims of a young woman. Cracking stuff. And in Bobok we have voices from the grave and there’s not much to look forward to! According to Dostoyevsky the after life is going to be as full of hypocrisy, petty jealousies, resentments and spite as this life. If you think Dostoyevsky isn’t worth reading because of his race and gender, then give this selection a try.Review- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Title: Beautiful
Review: The first story was hear shattering. My heart still hurts. The second one has a philosophical note and it’s beautifull. The book has been beautifully translated. However I’m not giving it 5 stars because it was wayy pricey for such a short and little book.

The 100 pages itself made me feel like i just read a 300-page novel. That’s how much thought-provoking it was.The story effectively conveys the need for connection and the agony of unfulfilled desires.I also read that Saint Petersburg, where the story takes place, is called the city of White Nights🥀

The story follows a dreamy, introverted guy who meets a girl during St. Petersburg’s “white nights” (when the sun barely sets), and they form a deep but fleeting connection. If you’ve ever been lost in your own thoughts or had a love that didn’t last, this one will hit home.The writing is poetic and emotional, making you really feel for the main character. The Penguin Little Black Classics edition is also great—compact, stylish, and easy to carry around. The only downside? Some people have received copies with minor damage, but mine arrived just fine.If you’re into classic literature and don’t mind a little melancholy, I highly recommend this book. It’s a quick but powerful read!
