Review: Update-Feb 21,2019, after using for 10 Months:——————————————————–* Pretty Decent quality.* Cannot update apps or install more apps due to shortage of ROM space. So will be restricted to old version of apps like amazon prime etc.* Overall Picture quality is good enough for me ( not like SONY quality) ; Pretty decent for max 5 hours of TV watching per week.* Bought this for my Brother last September and he too is pretty fine with the TV with similiar kind of usage like me.* Yesterday Bought the same TV for my parents too because our 7 year old SONY tv started giving display problem. Even our parents want to have amazon prime, youtube and this is pretty much fits the need.* The remote control layout changed in new version of this TV (purchased last week). Also Android is v5.1 in new version. I like the old version layout more than new one.Old Review in May 2018:====================First of all let me put my criteria for buying a TV :———————————————————a. 32 inch with decent picture quality for SD channels; I am not going to have HD subscription because mostly I will stream content.b. ability to install and play Amazon Prime videos, Netflix, YouTube and other streaming apps.c. ability to use Keyboard and Mouse to easily navigate.d. sufficient HDMI Ports and USB portse. WifiRealistically, I was not willing to spend on high priced TV because I do not have time to watch TV with my office and busy professional life.But wanted a decent, reliable TV within budget of Rs.15k.I spend max 3 hours per week watching TV channels, on an average.Mostly I stream via amazon, internet during weekendsFollowing are my review / thoughts / opinion after using this Kevin TV for 17 days :————————————————————————————————-Picture Quality: It is okay for SD channels, color saturation and distribution is little bit smudgy, however, I am fine with it. I am not going to expect Sony TV kind of clarity. I am happy with the picture quality of streaming with Amazon and Internet.Audio Quality:Okay, Decent and loud enough. However while listening to songs over Amazon prime music, there is no bass ( which is kind of expected).* This is a android box (with limited storage) with 32″ inch display 🙂 🙂 LoL!! out-of-the-box and easy to navigate using the Remote control and also via wireless Keyboard / Mouse – I like this very much!!* The storage space is limited; after installing 3-4 streaming Apps storage space becomes unavailable. But that’s fine. I knew the specs while buying it.* Other connectivity: USB ports are on the side of the TV in this model and The USB ports are one below the other and it is easier to connect two pen drives. USB is not bunched together (as the picture shows) which is really good .* Service: I do not know about it. After getting the TV 6 days after ordering I myself installed the TV. I assume the service will not be very good. Not sure. Update on 28th: Beston emailed me with their support contact immediately, may be after seeing this review. Smart / fast response. Good!Also, Previously last month I bought a BPL TV for 15,500 and returned that BPL TV because amazon did not work in that.This Kevin TV is so much more better than other costlier models. I would recommend this for whomever wanting a basic TV with smart Features for 12ft x 12ft hall.Probably, I will post an update after using this TV for 6 months.

Title: Don’t buy!! The worst piece of Technology every built!
Review: If you’re contemplating buying this for its price point, please don’t. This useless piece of trash is not even worth 100 rs. If anything, VW should pay us to take this TV.Bought one. Most of the apps weren’t working in the initial stage. Tried to get a refund, but Amazon stipulates that only replacement is possible, that too after a technician visit. The support for VW is so bad they just refused to come.Amazon agreed for a replacement after 6-7 days and we got a replacement. Please note that for apps like Netflix, you need to use a mouse button which will give you a good nostalgia of 15 year technology. When the replacement TV somehow was panting through its existence, after a good 7-8 days, the mouse pointer stopped working and the TV started showing the message: please uninstall apps as the storage space is low.We got connected to the customer care center with a lot of trouble, and their solution is to do a factory reset. A WEEK AFTER THE TV WAS BOUGHT.If you don’t want to torture yourself please don’t buy this useless piece of trash. I have already wasted 5-6 hours of my life trying to get this antique piece to a running mode and fully expect for it to crash in another week again. Amazon refuses to take the product back, and the technician support is next to useless. This is definitely your money down the drain and if you try for a refund, Amazon will ensure that you regret your existence by making you jump through impossible hoops like a circus monkey.

Title: Best in the cheapest
Review: Update: Bought in June 2019 and It’s Sept 2020. Never faced any issue. But do note a few things:1. You’ll never get any OTA update.2. There’s no way to mute notifications of the installed apps. So, they keep making sound whenever notification is received.Get the best out of this TV by reading this review. Let’s start:I bought the 32 inch smart TV (no air remote of whatever they call – that keyboard on the back of the remote) for 8100 (8999/- was the deal price and 10% discount on SBI card at that time).The installation was hassle free and the guy came well within 2 days. No issues of any kind. The only bad thing was that I was sent the manual for the different version (the one with keyboard on the remote’s back).I’m fine with the video quality but audio lack Bass completely. It’s okay for watching serials/news etc but for music and movies, one may find it bland. The total space is around 5GB which will be shared among the apps you’ll be installing and the data you’ll be downloading. It’s sufficient actually.I am not using Dish or cable but use apps like JioTv/Hotstar and other free apps 😛 As I have 20 mbps net, I never face buffering issues.BONUS: This TV has fully functional integrated GOOGLE PLAY STORE apart from the TV Store. Check attached screenshots and read Tip 3.Issue 1. Remote on android phone:As other reviews said that EShare app can be used to use phone as a remote but I didn’t receive that on my TV and tried several versions of the same but to no avail.Solution 1:Found this app named ‘CetusPlay’ on TV store. Installed that on TV and installed the same on phone (from Google Play store). Do note that I had tried several apps prior to that but none of them worked.Issue 2:Even Cetus Play doesn’t connect to the TV despite showing the common WiFi the TV and phone are using.Solution 2:Check your router’s settings and disable ‘AP Isolation’ somewhere from Wireless settings.Issue 3:All devices can’t Cast to the TV.Solution 3:Mi and some companies allow casting whereas some others like Motorola won’t allow that as these companies supports Google (Chromecast) and not Miracast. Still, you can at least cast your downloaded videos/photos using CetusPlay app. You can also stream videos/movies through CetusPlay by clicking ‘Link Transfer’ from the menu options.Tip 1: If you find it difficult to use phone as a remote, buy a wireless touchpad + keyboard for approx 500/- It’s sure worth it.Tip 2: If you have Jio SIM, you can use JioTV for TV. Find and download JioTV app from TV store and watch HD channels without any issue – even star network channels without needing Hotstar app.Tip 3: Open Google Play Store: Connect to CetusPlay app => Click My Apps => Click ‘System apps’ folder => Find and click on Google Play Store once. You can add the credentials from settings option of TV or from here. Download some custom launcher from Play Store (HAL Launcher- found this the best).Cons:The remote’s buttons are very hard and I feel it’s not durable. So, I don’t use it much.The remote’s Power button – Sometimes I have to press it 2-3 times to turn it on.It doesn’t have speech input.In a nutshell it’s a great buy for 8100/- It’s been almost a month and it’s working great so far. Planning to buy a couple more in the coming months if it doesn’t go kaput.
