There are lots of practical tips, examples/extracts from books by established writers, as well as exercises to get you going and to improve your writing. Topics covered include some helpful ideas to get you started, a clear analysis of each of the important basic themes of character, point of view, voice, dialogue, description, plot and ways to design, making it all convincing, revising your book and submittingj your manuscript. I bought it six months ago and still find myself dipping back into it for inspiration or clarification.
