Forest Honey is one of the most profound offerings from The Honey Shop. This Honey is collected from the wild bees (Apis Dorsata) found in deep Forests. Our Forest Honey is collected from these giant honey bees, the Apis Dorsata. It is the collection of Pench Forest, Kanha Forest and Melghat Forest located in central India. Apis Dorsata are the indigenous Honey Bees, also called as the Rock Bees, native only to south east Asia. They built natural hives in Forest and there is no human interference involved in the honey collected by these indigenous honey bees. This makes our Forest honey, the honey in its most natural form. We pack this delicacy Raw, as extracted from the hive. Our Honey completely Raw, Organic, unprocessed and unpasteurized. Some basic filtration is done to remove the bigger dirt particles. We take care that bee pollens are not removed in this filtration process.

Honey from Apis Dorsata is loaded with Bee Pollens, We have tested our Honey at InterTech Lab (Germany) for Bee Pollens in it. The test reveals that our Forest Honey has pollens from more than 23 different family of trees found in deep Forest. It has ten times more concentration of Bee pollens than that found in any bee keeping honey. This increases the medicinal value of Honey. Bee Pollens are known to have nutrients, enzymes, lipids, vitamins and over 250 active substances.

APIS-DORSATA COLLECTION: Our raw forest honey is not from the man managed bee boxes (bee keeping). Its collection from the wild bees called apis dorsata present in deep forest of india. Apis dorsata is native only to south east asia and built natural hives in the forest region.

Review: I think this is my 5th purchase from this company, tried many of their flavours. But I personally like this forest honey as well as wild berry honey. Thanks for making this product available under subscribe and save. I was surprised with the free sample.
My review is not biased because of freebies. It is genuinely a good quality pure honey.
My only request to this company is to maintain the quality as most other companies after getting good reviews/rating changes their quality.
Yes I do accept it is costly, but for the quality of the product I will accept this premium price tag.

Today I received my 7th order from honey shop, suddenly they had compromised with their quality. Now it taste too much sweet like dabur honey, I still had some honey from previous order which is way better than this one. Infact mixing 1part of dabur honey + 5part of previous forest honey creates this exact new honey which I received today. So it is not 100% pure raw honey from forest honey bees for sure.

Seller contacted me few days ago and explained me the reason behind this sudden change. I cross checked it with even other popular vendors honey. Same sudden shuttle change is observed with other 100% pure natural forest honey in my region (50KM away in forest). This was due to sudden change in climate. Tested for adulteration, there was none (not NMR test). But overall medicinal property took around 25% hit compared to previous batch. I understand there are certain things in the hand of all mighty nature beyond any human control.

Review: I’ve been consuming honey for over 30 years now and can tell the difference. This is a pure raw honey, thick & delicious. Tried few of the varieties and Forest Honey is my favourite. All of their honeys are very good and keep me going through my sadhana in the morning when we cannot take anything else but honey, water (and neem+turmeric of course:). Honey with warm water before sadhana brightens up the system – it becomes more vibrant, easy to do Hatha Yoga and Kriyas.
Customer Service is top notch, they took care of all my questions and requests, going extra mile.
Highly recommended people, don’t think twice. Price is good for the excellent quality – I looked long and hard to find this Seller. Will keep buying!
