Title: Great TV, but did not come with the center stand
Review: Bought the 85 inch version.The TV did not come with the center stand and they said that the stand is out of stock and I’ll have to wait for 4-5 days to get it in stock. Got it installed in 4 days since TCL did not provide the service team with a stand.From a TV perspective, it’s a brilliant TV for it’s price.The HDR performance is great, I have a dark theater setup and the black levels of the TV is very close to OLED levels with a bit of blooming.Not sure about the number of dimming zones, but should be around 800 for the 85 inch TV.The sound is decent and the audio performance is comparable to a mid priced soundbar.The colour accuracy is decent and the TV gets super bright in highlight areas in the HDR mode without much blooming.SDR upscaling is not great and you may not enjoy anything less than 1080p in such a large TV, but 1080p and 4k looks fantastic.This TV is worth it’s price and will not disappoint. 5 star for the performance, given the price. I reduced 1 star for not including stand in the box, delaying the TV setupEdit : Spent a day more with the TV and it’s actually amazing. Deep blacks, HDR+ content looks stunning and I’m reverting to 5 stars I also see people complaining about the speed and responsiveness of the android TV interface, but it’s pretty fluid. Very fast and never hangs.

Title: Wonderful tv, good contender but poor android and poor service!
Review: I bought the TV last week on Amazon sale for 62k including card offers. Couple of points ill mention below.1. ANDROID IS HEADACHE : TV is great, but android experience is just worst. Stutters and hangs in every OTT app. Sun nxt, hotstar, netflix everything plays for a couple of mins and freezes. I went into the debug mode to observe that the processor and ram is not able to handle this much of a load.2. TCL SUPPORT : Since 1 week of purchase still nobody has come for installation, I had to table mount this TV on my own. No wall mount is provided with this TV.3. SOUND : Sound is exceptionally good and you wont need a entry level soundbar as built in speakers are itself very good.4. GAMING : PS5 games with high refresh rate look like ps3 games above 60fps. So 240hz will be a gimmick until ps6 or ps7 comes. Generally its as good as any other QLED tv.5. Comparison with OLED : Mi vision Oled was available for same 63k including SBI offers on amazon during republic day sale. I think in terms of support and android functionality that has slight advantage. It lacks the high refresh rate though.Overall Great tv , buy a fire tv 4k or apple tv box to use it and dont fall for variable refresh rate gaming in 2024 just yet!

Title: The first week of usage has created a great impression on me.
Review: TCL 65C755Excellent picture quality. Sound quality for my hall is excellent with the Onkyo speakers.Appropriate media from various platforms are displayed in a wonderful way, although the information regarding the media played should have stayed somewhere on screen for longer.Film makers mode is not available in this brand as a picture mode. IMAX movies are played okay, but I do not know how to realize it is enhanced. But extremely good.Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connections are excellent, automatic. Bluetooth volume I found its quite low when I connected a home theatre. Probably there is nothing left out. Everything is configurable. Its upto one what he wants to use or leave it in auto. This is what fascinated me.At this price no other brand except Hisense offers this size TV with all the state-of-the-art technology.Hope they improve this further with updates periodically.If I do not tell about the remote and google TV it will be incomplete. Extremely good remote to use. All needed things provided. Google TV the most fluid one with Android TV 12 OS.What is bad . I have to search. It is an India made product.TCL Pls be available for prompt service if situation arises.

Title: Bleeding-edge specification product with TERRIBLE support (from Amazon).
Review: UPDATE (Feb 4th, 2024):Leg-chopping stories? Oh, those seem to be a specialty of the Banana Republic ruled by dictators. But it looks like it is common in India, too.It’s been almost three weeks since the TV arrived, only to discover that TCL decided to give it a special legless Desi makeover. Now Amazon wants it back without any option for a legged replacement. Looks like my Indian TV is taking a stand, quite literally, in its half-box with no legs to stand on!Seems like kidneys aren’t the only thing lost in India. Now, I’m tempted to pen down my next book on the fascinating world of leg-less adventures in India. Stay tuned for leg-chopped tales!******* My initial review:In summary, this is a bleeding-edge specification product with TERRIBLE support (including from Amazon). Normally, I don’t write negative reviews – I am disappointed, especially with Amazon, whose #1 principle is “customer obsession.”I have been an Amazon Prime member since 1998 (based in the USA) and work in the Technology sector (as a passion, I am an award-winning author of four Amazon best sellers in over a dozen languages). For greater purpose and fundraising, I do various high-end Photo and Video exhibitions in the USA based on Indian art and culture. I usually get high-end OLED TVs for such exhibitions in the USA. Unfortunately, in India, OLED options are limited, and hence, I went with the next best specification TV for Kerala Folklore Academy to exhibit the high-end videos and photos from Nikon Z9(8K source files) for Chirakkal Perumkaliyattam (held after 87 years).I placed the 85” (85C755) TV order on Jan 14th, 2024, and promptly delivered it on Jan 16th. The technician they sent to install the TV doesn’t even have a basic understanding of generic TV. We found the stand was missing and I was told they would deliver it in two days’ time. I also noticed that the TV is very hard to configure (no configuration option for HDR10, Dolby Vision, etc), and the picture is washed out. There is NO manual or documentation in the box, and I cannot find anything online either. I waited till Jan 20th and raised a ticket with Amazon support with a replacement request (I was told that a return is not an Option).In summary, to date (two weeks by tomorrow), they have not delivered the TV stand or replacements (Amazon wants to send the technician again) or even a follow-up call/email after multiple calls and escalations, including with supervisors (often, the calls get mysteriously disconnected).I request Amazon to update its website by removing its #1 principle: “customer obsession.” It looks like Indian customers are 2nd class customers.
