Review: As my daughter has just finished reception, I wanted something academic to bridge the gap before she starts year one.This book has been great in continuing her learning of phonics. It not only helps with single letter sounds but also blends of letters such as ‘ea’ ‘oa’ as well as double letters such as ‘ff’ ‘ss’ etc effectively teaching how to blend the beginning, middle and end of any word based on the combination of sounds. It’s a great tool and gave my daughter the confidence to want to try a couple of pages on her own. This book, along with a mini white board, a marker and lots of gentle reassurance has worked wonders, many thanks!
