Title: Very poor Service
Review: I am writing this as I am highly dissatisfied with the Service and Technical team of Redmi. Their service options are extremely poor and clearly don’t value their customers. They are also not transparent to their customers in telling them if there is any delays etc.I bought this TM for my parents who are senior citizens and now I realize that this was one of the biggest blunders I made.I had a problem with the screen so raise it with Redmi support on Nov 2nd. I scheduled service for 3rd of Nov 2023 but the tech didn’t visit as per schedule. I kept calling multiple times for this and finally technician visited on 5th Nov and confirmed that the screen needs to be replaced and that screen has 2 years warranty and will be covered, and it will be done within 10 days.I always wondered as to why it should take 10 days and had called multiple times and I was assured that there won’t be any delay beyond that. I was upset and surprised to know that Xiomi support team can’t even track or tell me whether the screen was procured and shipped also !!! 18th Nov was the final date before which the service should have completed and when I called I was told that they will investigate why there is a delay and will take another 10 more days. Then they will update me and not even confirming when service will be completed. They have also declined replacing the TV.This clearly indicated the level of customer focus they are showing. I asked for the warranty details and the supervisor who called me told that I can check it online myself ( there was no courtesy to share with customer ). I have been cheated where the product lasted for only 1.5 years. I had a Sony TV before this which was still working fine for 13 years before I disposed that and replaced that with this product.Today is 1st Dec 2023. Service still not done. No Callback on the progress. All false promises. Never buy MI/Redmi brand again in my life. I will advocate these learnings to all I know and spead awareness so that noone gets cheated like this.Appending: Today is 16th Dec. I was supposed to get this fixed by 15th Dec 2023 ( as per the last false promise made). Today someone called and informed to wait till Jan 5th ??? Mi/Redmi support are clear liars.. and keep hopping to the next 10 business days when we ask ETA. service center will not answer calls also.
