Title: A very useful product from Qubo
Review: I have been using this smart plug from Qubo for almost 2 months. I am able to optimise the heating time of my geyser there by reducing waste of energy. Thisc can be paired with Alexa which makes it very useful to control using voice commands. The Qubo app also provides scheduling feature to control the turn on time & turn off time. But I recommend to use it paired with Alexa which give more flexibility. This can also be controlled from anywhere if connected to WiFi. However, the Qubo app integration still needs improvement. The status are not updated realtime. Need to re-lauch the app every time to get the accurate status. Overall, a very good product to optimise the usage of high power consuming appliances like geyser which generally we forget to switch off after use and consumes a lot of power.

Title: Good build quality, Bluetooth operation – bad
Review: PROS: 1) robust casing.2) energy/ power data logging and usage plots.CONS: 1) wifi connection would be lost or disturbed frequently and user has to turn OFF, turn ON the gadget manually to access data.2) BT connectivity is bad. Occasionally user may connect with BT. BT to wifi and reverse transition is not seamless. Device is to be OFF/ON manually.Update: 8thJan2025These smart wifi plugs can not be shared with other family members.On other phones, one has to log in with the same login credentials.Is this better way of sharing devices?It is very very odd.

Title: Reliable only if you use Bluetooth.
Review: Smart desures are not reliable.I set up a routine in the app and made sure it’s on Wi-Fi, but I still can’t control this plug from afar. It keeps bugging me to connect through Bluetooth! Which defeats the purpose of being able to “use this from anywhere”. Most routines don’t even run, despite my wirpo plugs on the same connection working fine.
