Review: On the Open Road is the kind of book today’s youngsters would be glad to own. A short read spanning within 200 pages, brimming with hope and inspiration, the book is armed with the capability of igniting sparks of enthusiasm and encouraging the youth to embark on a road not trampled upon yet.’On the Open Road’ starts with a beautiful, inspiring note from the author. And you would love to know the terminating line, which reads, ” To the Board in Starbucks- where I completed this book, that read ‘Extraordinary things come from tiny beans’ “. Technically, it means coffee- an extraordinary thing in everyone’s life, and literally, the ‘ tiny beans’ can refer to each and every thought, small or big, that comes in our mind regarding our future. It will have a soul-stirring impact on the readers and thus encourage them to make their own decisions once in life, so that they are able to handle the consequences and lead their life responsibly. And sometimes, do let you alter-ego take some decisions in your life. I promise it could be life changing!This book should be an inspiration to many, I mean, most of the people in India ( since the story focuses on India’s startup facilities). Because, Myra, being an employee always wanted to break out of her cubicle, to quest for something new. A ravishing, distinct novel that I came across after a long time!! This simple read about 3 lives will definitely leave you motivated and inspired. It’s about the self discovery and know who you actually are before going ahead with some random idea. It describes the struggle faced by the millennials while proving themselves to their families and society.This story of trio is really going to inspire the upcoming artists who are still debating with their families to start their own journey. But if you persevere with your dream and have faith it it, it will either make you succeed or make you capable to succeed, both ways you win.Myra, the protagonist finally leaves her monotonous job, family and longtime boyfriend to find herself in the lap of nature in Himalayas.
