Review: My one hesitation is that this book is written in British English. So I did read through the pages and write some changes in American English. For example, I changed the word “plasters” to “bandaids”. But this is still the most helpful visual dictionary that I have found for my adult ESL class so far. It has the right amount of details — not too many pictures so as to be overwhelming, but it still contains a large variety of words that are neatly organized by topic so it makes it possible for the students to pick up vocabulary of related words.

Review: This book is perfect!My Husband was wanting a book for our kids that had real pictures to help with learning words. This 1000 word book is exactly that and a game changer. We explore a different topic every night like “farm animals”, “fruits”, “vegetables” or “occupations”. That way it keeps things interesting and fun! My children also like to just browse through the book and look at the pictures.
