Title: Maximum Protection, Minimalist Sunscreen – A Must-Have for Daily Defense!
Review: I recently purchased the Minimalist Sunscreen SPF 50 PA++++ from Amazon, and I am beyond impressed with its performance. In a world filled with skincare products claiming to do it all, this sunscreen truly stands out for its simplicity and efficacy.First and foremost, let’s talk about protection. With SPF 50 and PA++++ rating, this sunscreen offers maximum defense against harmful UVA and UVB rays, shielding my skin from sun damage and premature aging. Whether I’m running errands or spending a day at the beach, I trust this sunscreen to keep my skin safe and healthy. What sets this product apart is its minimalist formula. Free from harsh chemicals and fragrances, it’s gentle even on sensitive skin like mine. The lightweight texture absorbs quickly without leaving behind any greasy residue or white cast, making it perfect for daily wear under makeup or alone.I also appreciate the long-lasting hydration it provides. Infused with nourishing ingredients like hyaluronic acid and vitamin E, it not only protects my skin from the sun but also keeps it moisturized throughout the day. No more worrying about dryness or discomfort, even in harsh weather conditions.Title: Maximum Protection, Minimalist Sunscreen – A Must-Have for Daily Defense!I recently purchased the Minimalist Sunscreen SPF 50 PA++++ from Amazon, and I am beyond impressed with its performance. Title: Pills up
Review: I purchased this fluid-based sunscreen specifically for my acne-prone, sensitive skin, as it is lightweight and non-comedogenic. While the formulation has several positive aspects, there is a significant drawback that affects its usability.Pros:✔ No white cast – Blends seamlessly into the skin.✔ Non-greasy – Feels lightweight and comfortable.✔ Non-comedogenic – Does not cause breakouts, making it suitable for acne-prone skin.Cons:✖ Significant pilling – The product pills even when applied to dry skin with no prior products as well as properly moisturized skin.✖ Difficult for daily use – Due to the pilling issue, it is challenging to reapply or wear under makeup, which limits its practicality. While this sunscreen meets expectations in terms of texture, finish, and acne-friendliness, the pilling issue makes it difficult to incorporate into a daily routine. If the formulation is improved to prevent this, it would be a highly effective option for those with oily and acne-prone skin.

Title: Most skincare brands are a scam, and minimalist is probably the worst scammer
Review: Dont make the mistake I made – fell for the whole “skincare products with xyz actives are essential and the simple, traditional regimen isn’t good” trend. Im generally lazy to even use besan, multani mitti etc so end up using gentle soap and mostly natural, stable facewash bars. Was in a rush to travel to a cold place, so ordered a whole bunch of minimalist stuff because I couldn’t figure out that “minimalist” is a lie – the many actives are really neither minimalist nor necessary (why does sunscreen require questionable quality niacinamide??), and worse, NOT tested despite their claims on the product – where are the tests on their website? To top it all, the questionable chemicals used in the “minimalist” products. One example attached (octocrylene). Yes, as the founders keep repeating, “water” is also a chemical, but it doesn’t produce free radicals when a little of it is applied on skin, does it?So long story short, my skin ended up feeling worse, dry, from this “hydrating” sunscreen. Also this whole experience made me read up more – how sunscreens might be harming us and it’s all an industry scam (e.g. read science writer Michael Castleman’s old but undisputed Mother Jones pieces on sunscreen products).I’m gonna go back to tallow, sesame oil, besan n multani mitti n maybe turmeric. Thanks to minimalist for making me more disciplined in a hard way.
