Title: Teaching with AI: Excellent guide to adoption of AI in education
Review: This is a review for the book ‘Teaching in AI’ from this set. My review for ‘ChatGPT for teachers made easy’ can be found on this link: https://www.amazon.in/gp/customer-reviews/R1G7R9DO5232SO?ref=pf_ov_at_pdctrvw_srpThe author has done a great job at detailing out the scope of AI in education in very simple, understandable terms. The strength of this book is that its concepts can be appreciated by an AI novice as well as an AI veteran in equal measure. The AAA model is quite handy! There are several pages dedicated to specific AI tools that can be leveraged both by the student community as well as teachers for administrative work. The author has gone to the extent of providing several generative prompts as examples across different use cases. Perhaps the only missing opportunity in this book is the perspective & role of parents in this evolving ecosystem. There is a fair amount of overlap across the 2 books in this set.Note to author: The link to plaito.ai in the kindle version of this book leads to an unrelated, gaming platform, that perhaps needs to be updated.

Review: As it seems AI is only going to become more and more useful and widely used I thought I would learn a little about it. These books do a phenomenal job introducing AI within the education sector. The author provides a very clear, and comprehensive introduction to AI, nsmely ChatGPT, and how it fits into the education sector. It provides clear examplles in engaging the programs, using them, ways they could be i pkemented in the classroom and remotely. I love that it strongly, throughout both books reassures readers, that AI will be working WITH teachers and staff. It provides useful websites students and staff can use and provides a step-by-step guide in utilizing these apps. It also stresses the needs for privacy for students and the steps in which it is being addressed. Overall, these two books do an amazing job in introducing ChatGPT/AI and I feel much more relaxed about it being included in the classroom. It certainly sounds as if can be a real time saver and asset. Those interested in learning more about AI in the schools would really benefit from reading these texts!

Review: This book offers a thoughtful and practical exploration of how AI, especially tools like ChatGPT, can transform education. The book effectively contrasts traditional and tech-savvy teaching approaches, highlighting the benefits of integrating AI to make learning more personalized and efficient. It’s both interesting and a little scary to see how much AI could change our classrooms, but the examples provided, like those of Ms. Anderson and Mr. Smith, make the future seem promising rather than daunting. This 2 in 1 guide is a valuable resource for any educator curious about embracing AI to improve their teaching and student outcomes.

Review: This book covers the content of two books about the use and implementation of AI in the classroom for educators. I had already read one of them, but I must admit this is a good recommendation for any educators looking to bring AI into the classroom. It offers not only explanation of what AI is and the different types and ways in which you can include it in the classroom and in the educational process, but also gives you options and explains each one in a small summary of which AI are out there and which ones are good for what purpose. They even go as much into detail to explain the benefits if there are any to having the premium versions or which ones have free versions as well. The only topic that I would love to see tackled in here a bit more is the way in which teachers and educators can check for the use of AI in assessments and assignments completed by students. While I am not opposed to AI being used for research purposes, it does beg the question of whether or not our students can become overdependent to the use of AI and reduce their critical thinking and problem-solving capacity. I know that Quillbot (mentioned in here) can be used for checking essays and other texts for the use of AI, much like other tools were used in the early 2000s to check for plagiarism. I do wonder more about this aspect however, and would love to see if another book can be written to tackle these issues!Other than this, greatly recommend this book to anyone curious about the use of AI in education!

Review: This book is a great review of AI and shows how it can effectively be used in the classroom. AI scares some people because of the unknown, but Mastering AI for Educators Made Easy reviews the history, the different types of AI, and pros/cons. The pros definitely outweigh cons. There’s great information on using ChatGPT in the classroom. Various programs are reviewed such as Grammarly and Quillbot. AI can also be used to assist in administrative tasks using programs like Formative AI and Gradescope. Much more information is provided, so if you have decided to use AI in your classroom or still considering its use, read Mastering AI.
