Title: It works beautifully
Review: Sony TVs last far longer than their remote controllers. That’s when a new controller comes in. The original item costs upward of 2800 INR (last I saw) whereas this is so, so much easier on the pocket.The original remote lasted well over 3-4 years and had voice command functionality. This remote easily lasts 2 years, but doesn’t have the voice functionality. That’s okay, not a problem. It also has dedicated buttons for YouTube, Netflix, and Google Play services.Bottom line is that it works, and for a fraction of the cost of the original. But I took away one star because it inevitably develops the same problem all the times I bought it: the up key stops working. I bought this three times and every time that’s how I know that this remote controller’s life is over.Still, two years of problem-free work for this price is a very good deal. It’s also very sturdy – my kids have dropped it and broken off parts of the body time and time again, but IT STILL WORKED!
