Title: Remote understanding problem
Review: This set top I have received yesterday. And started using. Picture and sound quality is fine in Full HD.But I faced following problems.1. They have not included the Users manual inside the package. Without manual it is very difficult to understand the full use of Remote buttons. When contacted they sent me a pdf manual which is not matching to the remote I have received.2. Their logo LRIPL is displaying at left bottom corner of the screen continuously which is obstructing the main content on screen. At least they should have provided the logo on transparent back ground like DD logo.Otherwise I like this Set top box main features like built in Wifi, Youtube connectivity etc.

Title: Below average box
Review: I expected a better box for the price 1299. The build quality is very low as it is made by cheap plastic. It started heating just after one hour use. There is no option for auto scanning. The box scan channels on initial use. But several satellites are enabled by default for scan. After scanning several unwanted channels added. I tried mannual scan, I removed all the satellites except GSAT 15. GSAT 15 is named as SAT 15 in satellite list, can’t change to original name due to charector restrictions. After mannual scan unwanted channels from the same satellites were still there. Once again I tried to remove that channels by changing scan option to free channels only. But once again unwanted pay channels were there. Wifi is showing, when tried to connect to my home wifi, I was unable to enter my password as there was no option visible to type numerical values. So software is buggy. HEVC is shown in description page HEVC is not shown in the product cover or not visible during entire scanning process.In the positive side all dd Free dish channels were available. There is an option to change video quality to 1080p. But no upscale is there. So actual broadcast picture resolution is possible which varies from 576p to 1080i. Thus picture quality was above average.I tried to add the box as TV box in Sony Bravia Led TV (Google TV). The model number was not in there list. So not possible to control the box through TV.Conclusion- For normal user the product can be used for receiving and watching dd free dish channels in actual quality. MP4 and HD channels are working though clutter is there. Heating issue is also creating some disturbance. Once again if you are not a power user it is watchable.
