“If you knew you had to do the right thing, but that something bad may happen to you because of it, would you do it anyway?” This hard-hitting, emotional, YA story of pain and love; right and wrong; and life and death is a masterful mix of suspense, romance, the paranormal, and the though-provoking questions we all ask surrounding the difficult subject of suicide.
Hadley Jamison is shocked when she hears that her classmate, Archer Morales, has committed suicide. She didn’t know the quiet, reserved guy very well, but that doesn’t stop her from feeling there was something she could have done to help him.
Hoping to find some sense of closure, Hadley attends Archer’s funeral. There, she is approached by a man who calls himself Death and offers her a deal. If Hadley accepts, she will be sent back twenty-seven days in time to prevent Archer from killing himself. But when Hadley agrees to Death’s terms and goes back to right the past, she quickly learns her mission is harder than she ever could have known.
Time ticks away as Hadley looks for ways to not only talk to Archer but to know him on a deeper level. But just as she and Archer connect, a series of dangerous accidents starts pushing them apart. Hadley must decide whether she is ready to risk everything―including her life―to keep Archer alive.

Review: Fantastic book. Knowing this book has a suicide in it I was a bit apprehensive that the author may completely dismiss or justify suicide in some way. But she has managed to weave a beautiful story around it. She was successful in highlighting that under all the labels which society attaches to people, cool rich girl, rude anti social boy, etc there could actually be a normal decent person in there who will reveal only to the right person when the right time comes. This one made me smile quite a lot though a few times some things did make my heart clench in sorrow.

Title: Book Review
Review: Genre: Young Adult, Fantasy, Science FictionWhen Hadley learns that a boy she shares a vague acquaintance with has committed suicide, she canât stop thinking about it. She attends his funeral in an attempt to settle her mind. Instead, she meets Death himself, and he offers her the opportunity to go back in time and attempt to prevent Archer Morales from ending his life. She accepts. The characters in this story are beautifully real. They are sympathetic, flawed, and kind. They struggle with difficult pasts, absent parents, and fear of being vulnerable. At the same time they have the capacity to protect and love and care deeply. The way Mrs. Morales takes Hadley into her family, the friendship that evolves between Hadley and Archer, the loyalty of Archers extended family all are things that are both relatable and inspiring.I love how this book shows the power of just seeing someone, caring, and acting on that caring. But it also doesnât make it too easy, like you can just introduce yourself and say, âlets be friendsâ and BOOM, life changed. This story shows the dedication, vulnerability, and a sense of truly caring for someone. It shows sticking with a friend even when that friend isnât lovable, easy to get along with, or beneficial for your own mental state. And it shows the power of that kind of caring to change lives. An interesting read, must try.

Review: I had originally read this book on Wattpad a few years back and had fallen in love with it. I read it quite a few times on there before I realized it was now published! I bought it right away and read it quickly! It does have some differences here and there such as the 1 sister in the Wattpad version turned into, if I remember correctly, triplets in the physical book. There were some other parts here and there that were different as well. Iâd love to have both versions in physical copies. Other than that, you are absolutely one of my favorite authors! This book is just so lovely and refreshing! I did buy this book a little while back and completely forgot to write a review. I definitely give it a 5/5! I look forward to buying future books as well! (Excuse my late review!!)

Review: 5 FREAKING STARS for Hadley weaving her way into Archer’s heart! I absolutely love this novel since it’s Wattpad days! One of the first books I ever read on Wattpad and I was super excited to hear that it is being published.I love love Hadley and they way she selflessly went on to save Archer. She is a saviour and an angel – a friend that everyone needs. The novel is based on a sensitive topic of suicide, but the way Alison wrote the novel was beautiful. I could feel Hadley’s emotions and though Archer is shown as a rude and cold-hearted individual, as Hadley enters his life she is able to see a side in him no one sees at school.Their love story is so natural and did not feel forced. Hadley’s purpose in Archer’s life was to save him. I’m not a big fan of paranormal romance, but I loved the character development of Hadley and Archer.

Review: This book is unlike any other Iâve read, Iâve never felt the emotions of a plot as deeply as this one. Itâs written beautifully, and while containing elements of fiction and fantasy, I found it very relatable. Parts of the story were almost healing in the way they were written, at least for me, I couldnât put it down and read it all in one sitting.
