Title: Loved this best of the set
Review: I was waiting for Kennedy’s and Kate’s story. And it’s so beautiful. Kate has always been strong, determined, capable, taking care of everyone and everything. And yet, there’s been a guardian angel who’s been caring for her, because, “She comes first, always.” I loved the way how Kennedy has never wanted to be thanked for anything that he does for anyone. He takes time to dive in, but once he’s in, it’s forever. He’s patient, understanding, loving, so tender. They are beautiful together. Thank you Lauren for a beautiful story.

Title: Kate and Kennedy were always meant to be together!
Review: This is the third book in the 21 Wall Street series and it follows the story of Kate Henley- the cute, quirky and workaholic assistant of three investment brokers who are also her closest friends. But, she had a crush on one of her bosses- Kennedy Dawson, the broody and grumpy one of the three.”And somehow over the past few years, she’d become his calm. She was his order. Even when she annoyed him. Which was . . . always.”While Kate always believed in love at first sight, Kennedy was her opposite. He wanted to settle down and have a family but he didn’t think about love. He always had an attraction towards Kate but as she was his employee, he decided not to entangle his personal and professional life. So, he made a stupid pact with his friends Ian and Matt that Kate was offlimits. But he also may have made a rude remark that Kate had overheard and that made her want to get over her feelings for him.“I want the struck-by-lightning kind of love,” she said, her eyes bright and cheeks pink as she seemed to warm to the topic. “You know, where you lock eyes with someone, and both of you just know.”Kate and Kennedy had a wierd dynamic. Kennedy felt that Kate had a nice relationship with everyone except him and Kate just wanted to get over her feelings for him. No matter how much she tried to convince herself that she’s not in love anymore, she couldn’t truly get Kennedy out of her heart.”She needed a distraction from her pain. And he was determined to be the one doing the distracting.”Both of them get stuck in the awkward group dynamic until Kennedy’s brother Jack comes into town and takes an interest in Kate, that seems to snap Kennedy out of his delusion and it was fun to see him get jealous over Kate and Jack’s “dates”. The funny thing about the series is that both Matt and Kennedy were jealous of Ian. Matt- because Ian was Sabrina’s childhood bestfriend and Kennedy- because Ian supposedly paid for Kate’s tution fees.Anyways, Kate & Kennedy knew so many little things about each other and it was about time they realised the depth of their feelings.“You once said you wanted someone who’d fall hard and fast for you, and while I know I let you down on the fast part . . . I did fall, Kate. I’ve fallen all the way.”Overall, the book was perfect and the writing was as usual flawless but this book (unlike the first two in the series), was written in the third person point of view so it was a little difficult for me to switch to third person pov, having read all the three books back to back. But Kate & Kennedy were definitely worth it! When I started the series, I was reluctant to read Kate’s books because it was obvious that her book would have some unrequited love and I didn’t want her to constantly embaress herself by acting like a highschool girl with a strong crush. But, it wasn’t the case at all Kate was in complete control of her feelings and knew exactly what she wanted. Suffice to say, I’m glad I picked the book up. I definitely recommend reading this series if you love Lauren’s other works.

Review: Lauren Layne is the best romance novel writer who can write a book with full or romance cliches and with very sexy and beautiful hero and heroin. 21 Wall Street series was again a super hit with handsome hero and beautiful and confident heroin with heavy dose of romance cliches.I have read all of her novels was awaiting to read third part of the series .Kennedy and Kate happy ever after was fun to read. Lauren Layne has done an amazing job with bringing these two together at the end.I was thinking I would not be surprised with this book but as usual with all of Lauren Layne’s books I was.If you are fan of classic rom com movies and are missing it as I know they are no good rom com movies are made now a days. Lauren Layne book should be your go to. You will absolutely feel like you are watching a rom com movie.Enjoy reading 😊

Review: The third and final book of these Wolves of Wall Street and what a way to end!!Ladies get out the tissues, as this one is a killer the feels department and it’s not going to take any prisoners.So we’ve seen Ian settle with Lara and their wedding is almost here. Then Matt and Sabrina finally sort themselves out and are now blissfully and happily married.But what about Kennedy and Kate?? The last two of this tight circle of best friends??Well Kate’s been in love with Kennedy since the day she met the three guys, back when they were junior investors and she their assistant. But after hearing something from Kennedy, one night, when the three guys made a pact to never hit on her!Upon hearing his comment about her, she left broken hearted and never looked at him again. Since then, their relationship has never been the same.Coming back to present day.On finding herself caught into having to plan a surprise birthday party for Kennedy, on behalf of his girlfriend Claudia. No matter how many times she tries to tell her that certain things wouldn’t be a good idea, his new girlfriend won’t listen. So what if he’s allergic to certain things, he wouldn’t be the only one there.Once she’s back at her desk, she looks up at someone who’s just stopped at her desk. Review: I’m a romance reader JUST to get that kind of giddy feeling at the end of my reads as I just received. Lauren Layne, you really are a bit of a legend. I went from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows in this one and every part was so bloody good.Sitting down, contemplating my review, I had to chuckle that English Royalty meets American Royalty. Kate, represents English royalty, while Kennedy, represents American royalty…or what I would consider American royalty. Which is a little funnier still because of our latest royal match up where America and England UNITES!! Harry and Megan are definitely a modern kind of royal marriage. So off topic but you know how I’m often dragged off topic when it comes to writing review and such…Anyways…I absolutely LOVED Huge Deal. I’ve been waiting for Kennedy’s story and it was ALWAYS going to be Kate. Sure, he brought a few floozies to the scene (sorry, Claudia wasn’t a floozy, but she wasn’t Kate either) but I knew they were just a substitute for what he really wanted.I really did feel sorry for Claudia, but even though she was “nice” she was also pretty self-serving and a little too image conscious for my liking. The fact that Kate could be so tolerant considering her unrequited love…I mean “past” love for Kennedy, showed she was a better human than I ever could be. I know it’s her job to assist the guys, but really, serving as the girlfriends assistant as well…PUSHING IT!!!I absolutely loved the slow-burn progression of this one. Normally I don’t but you kind of need it because of the type of people Kennedy and Kate are. They’re so organised, methodical and precise with their thoughts and actions. It was NEVER going to a wham, bam, thank you, ma’am, with these two.Poor bloody Kennedy, he just hasn’t got it in him to rush his feelings. First off, he must assess, then there’s the testing phase, and finally, he must do everything in his power to be safe in his commitment to those feelings. I couldn’t help but chuckle with every new acknowledgement that his past steps were indicative of his burgeoning love. I knew he was in love with Kate from the first instalment of this series, he just needed to get with the times.Poor bloody Kate, working everyday with the love of your life is hard work. There’s this little part that needs to impress with your unflappable and hardworking assistance. Then, the façade of indifference when feelings are hurt or overlooked. Finishing off with a hard shell of acceptance that you’re invisible and just always there for their needs. I’m not sure I could do it, to be honest. Kate, she’s a tough little cookie but I think she did herself an injustice by being too good at her job.Every step took me closer to my happy place…when they finally accepted they were meant to be. There were times I was choked up with emotion but that just made their happy ever after even more perfect when we get there.I loved seeing Ian and Lara, Matt and Sabrina, and now Kate and Kennedy happy. This has been an amazing series and each instalment has left me thoroughly satisfied. Lauren Layne is a remarkable storyteller and I have loved 21 Wall Street. She manages to mix intelligent characters, an interesting storyline, and enough heat to pack a punch. If you haven’t tried a Lauren Layne, I highly suggest you…start at the very beginning…a very good place to start…****Sorry, it’s Saturday Night…Wine Night!! My thoughts are a little messy. Just know that I absolutely LOVED Huge Deal.****

Review: So many contemporary romance novels rely so much on the sex scenes, and I do enjoy them. However, when it is in every other chapter. It’s not that exciting anymore.I enjoyed the interaction between Kennedy and Kate so much, like real interaction. I appreciated the story that was being told.Ms. Layne never fails to make me just devour her stories as fast as I can and then still want more at the end.Looking forward to your next trilogy and hoping other well-loved characters appear in the next stories.

Review: Se volete una storia romantica da leggere tutta d’un fiato Hard sell fa per voi. È il racconto adatto a sollevarvi l’umore, i dialoghi sono brillanti a volte spiritosi, ma mai noiosi. L’intreccio forse non molto originale: assistente carina ma non troppo appariscente s’innamora non ricambiata di uno dei suoi 3 capi, ricchi e strafighi, per poi scoprire , proprio quando ci ha messo una pietra sopra che forse il suo non è un amore a senso unico. Tuttavia la storia di Kate e Kennedy non viene trattata in modo superficiale bensì realisticamente e in modo avvicente. Tutti abbiamo i nostri pregi e i nostri difetti ma, là fuori c’è l’altro pezzo del puzzle basta avere il coraggio di vederlo e afferrarlo.
