Review: This book, ahhhh!!!! I TRULY DON’T KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN FROM. 🥺😍It’s just so special, so heart touching, so so so beautiful and endlessly precious that I’m in awe of it. I cried, smiled, melted, swooned and felt my heart absolutely burst and glow with love endlessly! Lana, Cal and their angels (I really don’t want to ruin the surprise for anyone) have absolutely stolen my heart. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to express just how I LOVE them! Their story healed my heart, hugged it close and wrapped it in a fuzzy blanket of tenderness and love. I genuinely never wanted it to end! I just wanted to live more with Cal and Lana in their safe haven. Their love, care, commitment and devotion towards each other… ahhh, it makes me cry to even talk about it! It’s just too soul stirring for words. It’s *EVERYTHING* Please do give their story a chance, I promise – you’ll fall truly, madly and deeply in love with them in absolutely no time! Title: An interesting book with lovable characters (NO SPOILERS)
Review: This story is about the youngest Kane brother, Callahan Kane, who is labelled as the good-for-nothing, useless fellow as he doesn’t work for the company but we get to see the transformation in him as he has to face his fears and his past to earn his part of the inheritance.The almost 600-pages book did feel lengthy but I didn’t find it boring. After having a glimpse of Cal in the previous book, I did want to explore more of him and boy, he doesn’t disappoint me. He is a dare-lover, who fights with his inner demons, flirtatious type who can capture anyone with his smile and words and his love, Alana is right in between him and his inheritance. She has a lot of trust issues regarding Cal as he broke her heart in the most horrible way and she doesn’t know if she has to trust him with her life and daughter or cut him off permanently. The changes which Cal undergoes from the beginning of the book to the ending and the efforts he puts in to change himself is really commendable. The dialogues are beautifully written. As usual, there’s a bit of over-romance which didn’t suit me. Cami’s character was well written and she does have her impact in this book. The cameo’s of the other two brothers and their wife’s is a good on.Overall, the book was a super good read, flawed characters, a lot of spice and swoon-worthy romance, load of emotions and a great ending to the series. Worth the time spent.

Title: A slow burn Romance with a twist
Review: So it’s a wrap on the “Final Offer” by @laurenasherauthorRating: ⭐⭐⭐.5This book had many elements which were beautifully described by the author. The beginning started off with Callahan returning to his summer vacation home only to find out the love of his life was living there along with her daughter. From then on he starts the journey of mending their relationship.The reason he returns in the first place is because of his grandfather’s will which states that he has to sell the summer home to get his inheritance. Callahan is now split between selling the house as well saving his relationship with Alana and Cami.Callahan is portrayed as an alcohol addict and eventually in the book he tries his hardest to get better for himself and the people around him. He does succeed in the endAlana and Callahan do get back together. They do have a happy ending.All in all, the book was super cute, and I love scenes where Cami interacted with Callahan. Especially taking $100 for the infamous swear jar.Stay tuned for more such book reviews!

Review: I don’t remember loving the other two books the way I did this one.I wasn’t sure what to expect with cal, I feel like we got such small glimpses of him from the other books but my god was he worth the wait. I don’t know what it is about last brothers books, because between cal and breaker from Meghan Quinn’s series I’m hooked. Both those boys out did their older siblings.I would recommend this book to friends, I don’t want to say I wouldn’t re read it, I just can’t picture it at this point.The writing style was wonderful, Lauren has a great flow to her work and I always enjoy it. I was hooked on the plot and desperate to see cal get better.Characters were amazing, I’m obsessed with cami? She was so lovable. I feel like sometimes kids are written so poorly in books but cami is amazing and arguably steals the show?Lana was not your typical hopeless, annoying heroine. She was smart and strong and sure of herself but she had her faults and weaknesses like we all do. She felt like a real person rather than a book character and I think those are the best kinds.Sweet cal. What a man, what a journey. The addiction was very well written, showing a side of alcoholism I’m not sure many know about or realize how common it is. I loved watching him grow and seeing him change. Like I said above, easily my favourite Kane brother.Anyways I don’t give out 5 stars easily, but I laughed, I cried and I felt immersed in this simple yet intricate book.

Mas tudo que é bom chega a um fim, né?Final Offer nos conta sobre o amor de Lana e Cal. Ou Alana Castillo e Callahan P. Kane (o segundo nome do Cal é uma piada à parte, não vou dar spoiler). Como eu já sabia, esse livro ia ser perfeito, visto que é um second chance e de grandes amigos e amor de infância, que passam 6 anos separados mas ainda continuam se amando. Um amor tão grande que nem sabia a força que tinha.É linda a forma que Cal se mostra atento e em busca de ser melhor, seja para ele mesmo, para Lana, para Cami e sua futura família. Como ele luta com seu vício, com sua ansiedade e com o TDAH. A parte golden e comediante do Cal era sua parte que já conhecíamos, então eu não esperava menos da Lauren nesse livro, eu ri várias vezes e a interação dele com a Cami (extorquindo um bilionário para o fundo da faculdade) foi uma adição perfeita e deu leveza pro drama do livro.A participação especial dos outros irmãos, das suas parcerias e da viagem para Dreamland foi meu momento preferido de todos. Claro que a proximidade forçada e eles vivendo sob o mesmo teto em Lake Wisteria também tem seu apelo, toda a tensão sexual dentro da mesma casa, os beijos melados de cupcake, o Cal se arrastando (LITERALMENTE) pela Lana e a forma que eles pirraçavam um ao outro, naquela birra boa que só um casal com muita bagagem e amor nos entregaria.Esse livro foi lindo, agridoce por ser o fim, mas fiquei feliz de conhecer a história de nosso Cal, do cara que ele escondia atrás das máscaras de felicidade e humor. Review: From Lala’s Book ReviewsAll I can say is CALLAHAN PERCIVAL KANE. Like don’t get me wrong, I love Declan and Rowan, but I knew that Cal would be my favorite Kane brother since we saw so much of him in Terms and Conditions.Cal is the middle Kane brother who is more of the family man compared to his workaholic brothers. He was the one who dreamed about settling down with the his childhood love until his career in the NHL ended after a couple of years leading to depression and dependency on pain killers and alcohol to make it through the day. Cal was able to kick the pain killers but was never able to give up the alcohol despite rehab and AA meetings. He knew that this version of himself was not the man that Lana deserved and used her fear of abandonment and rejection to breakup with her.Six years pass and Cal has never returned to Lake Wisteria (except for one time) where Lana lives and he used to visit his grandfather Brady Kane during the summer. As good old Brady would have it, Cal needs to sell the house that Brady left for him to be able to get his inheritance and help his brothers secure their portion of the Dreamland franchise that Brady created. Little dose Cal know that Brady was a sneaky man who had more puzzle pieces than Cal expects, and when he shows up to the lake house for the first time in years, he finds out that none other than Lana had actually inherited half of the lake house. Causing Cal how to find a way to convince Lana to sell the house.The most surprising and shocking thing that Cal finds out is that Lana has a daughter with features that are very similar to his own would be around the age of when he had left Lana.Let me tell you, Cami (Lana’s daughter) is a little spitfire and had an adorable way of stealing the show from either Lana or Cal. Kami is probably the biggest reason that Lana made it through those six years after having her heart broken by Cal. Cami gave Lana a reason to make it through each day, and you it’s clear that Kami and Lana have an unbreakable relationship with love and trust. With Cami only being old enough to be in elementary school she is smart and observant with that childish charm that lowkey freaks Cal out at first but also steals his heart like Lana did.Lana is more guarded as time has moved on as she now has to think about her daughter. She has a good life in Lake Wisteria where she knows that the small town of people love them and would protect them like a family. After being shocked into a momentary stupor of seeing her teenage crush after six years of loneliness. She’s afraid of the worse that he will somehow make his way back into her heart and is unwilling to let go of her part of the house. Lana decides that if Cal is so persistent on selling the property, she would make it near impossible by suggesting that the old house needs to be renovated to increase listing price. Cal would rather sell it sooner rather than later, but relents knowing that this would be the only way.Cal wants to be out of the town where he could have had the love of his life and being so close to Lana and Cami in the guess house is his own personal form of torture of having what could have been so close but out of reach. And, as Brady Kane would have had it, the house is filled with asbestos causing Lana and Kami to have to live in the guess house with Cal. Cami is beyond thrilled as she and Cal have become best friends over the weeks while Lana is hesitant to be so close to Cal as he is already starting to wear down the walls around her heart.As the three of them are forced to play house, they fall into a routine and it would be easy for Lana and Cal to imagine a life together but the looming end of the summer and Cal leaving is one of the things that has Lana holding onto any sense of letting herself fall again for the man who so obviously wants to become someone who is worthy of her time.Cal decides that it is finally time to get sober for himself and that he owes himself the changes that could come along with it. And, he decides that he would spend every last second of a sober life proving to Lana that he is the man that could give her and Cami a life filled with love.The Final Offer is in my opinion the best book in the series. With Cal’s book being the largest in the series, it sadly went by way to quickly as Cal and Lana have to overcome the trust issues that they have with themselves and each other and find their way back to each other after six years of separation.As much as I love the grumpy sunshine trope going on with the first two books, I love the golden retriever energy that Cal has and his undying loyalty that he has. I love his determination to change for himself and becoming a person who would be deserving of a better life.This book is filled with first love, heartache, and finding your way back to the person you were meant to be with.
