Title: BEWARE DO NOT BUY REFURBISHED LAPTOP FROM RENTOPC
Review: On 12th day started having a black horizontal band on top of the screen. Contacted Rentopc for warranty – they said product is having physical damage and not covered by them. There is no physical damage to laptop & is in as received condition. Contacted Amazon customer care, they said you contact seller we have nothing to do with it after 1st 7 days.This is my 2nd laptop purchased from Rentopc and this is the pathetic service from them ! Rentopc doesn’t answer calls ! Beware, if you buy refurbished laptop, they will not provide warranty & Amazon doesn’t care.Edit : DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM RENTOPC as above laptop, after 1 month the battery is defective & needs replacement & the keyboard is defective & needs replacement.Cost of battery is 6500/- + gst & keyboard another 5500/- + gst as per service center.So in 2 weeks screen went bad, in 1 month battery & keyboard needs replacement. So where is the QUALITY & 6 MONTH WARRANTY ??? Feels like they are buying used defective laptops from Call centers/software company’s & reselling here in the name of refurbished ones.Edit: After 1.5 months of purchase and haggling with Rentopc I have had to change at my own cost the touchscreen, keyboard and battery for around 22000/- so buy these at your own risk !!
