Review: This book is an essential reference book for students of physics and chemistry. It will not teach you either, but will serve as a “handy” reference for that formula that you just can’t quite recall or that table that you need. Different editions do not appear to vary much from year to year, but if you can afford it buying the latest edition will probably be best depending on your circumstances. It is large, heavy, and pricey book. The Kindle edition is currently about $40 cheaper. If you like or need the advantages of portablity, you might consider the Kindle edition. Unfortunately, this just speculation on my part, having had no experience with it.
