Review: Friends, Its no doubt that this casio variant D 097 is an evergreen classic piece because of its dark colour,beautiful square dial,perfect medium size for an average size wrist and for its many standard settings and features.Its inner sub 4 different windows in the main dial gives us a feel of Gshock watches in some sense.It perfectly matches with a full sleeve shirt ie watch dial goes under the wrist sleeve so easily.This casio digital watch is not that oversize and fancy like other many digital watches so that it suits all group of ages…While thinking about its demerits i can’t spot major points except 2 points….It has a plastic glass which is alittle bit bulged upwards from the dial sothat it may get scratch which is a common problem which we have to takecare …Its second demirt is its resin band which may get torn or break after 2 or 3 years ,if we go for a rough use….Obviously i will recommend this casio watch for an average civilian class anywhere in the world for its avg 8 to 10 years avg battery life and for its standard look & features …Not only that there is a fancy fact too that this was that watch in the movie Casino Royale the Mr.Bond (Daniel Craig)was wearing😄.This Casio D 097 is very popular among western civilization too…I just bought this watch and i hope i will be having a good experience and great time ahead with it…Thank you….

Title: Cool watch!
Review: This is my first ever Casio watch! I loved its design!There are many reviews and videos about the watch so i wont cover the obvious features but some of the lesser known points worth noting:1. The back-light is from two leds at the bottom corners. It is sufficient to view in complete darkness. The time for which the leds stay on upon pressing the button is configurable up to 3 seconds.2. The buttons when pressed create a sound but it can be disabled by holding the ‘mode’ button for few seconds. The display shows “mute” when the sound is disabled. Alarm sound is active even if “Mute” mode is selected.3. The clock is capable of giving hourly chime. When activated the display shows “SIG”. It can be disabled in the settings.4. The belt if broken can be replaced by original or third party belts.5. Here is a small hint. In order to get perfect time for various time zones you need to check online if the DST is going on in that particular region or not. DST has to be selected as ON to match the current time in that city/timezone.6. It has 5 Alarms that can be set. You can set its occurrence for ‘one time only ‘ or ‘daily’ . The alarm sound is enough to wake you up. It keeps going on for certain time but you can interrupt it to stop by pressing any button. “ALM” is displayed on upper right screen when alarm is set.7. The digitized analog clock (Round clock on upper left side) always shows the home city time (T1)8. There is a timer and stop watch function which works well.8. Please register the watch online at the given website link in the box.9. 10 years battery life is claimed, lets see how much it gives realistically.My favorite features which i find most useful:1. World time. I have set it as follows 1) T1= DEL (Delhi)as Current home time 2) T2= LON (London) time 3) T3=BER (Berlin) time 4) T4= LAX (Los Angles) time. The T2, T3, T4 are currently with DST set as ON.2. 5 Alarms: To wake up, For my child’s school bus, For my Bus.3. Hourly Chime: Very handy to have a sense of time without looking.4. I have not found an occasion to use timer, stop watch etc yet but should be useful for some one into sports or cooking.Worth the price! Loved it!

Review: Bought this watch 4 years back and the only thing I changed is the straps in its 3rd year. Best in class watch and very tough. As a tradition I will post a review again in the 8th year of this watch and see if the 10 year battery challenge is legit. See you all in 2028… Cheers!!
