Title:
Review: I purchased the hardcover version of this book (even though it is available by open access) so that I could mark it up and study it. And I am glad I did. This book is packed full of up-to-date wisdom on how AI can be used in healthcare. The authors state: “lack of best practices undermine practice and potential of Biomedical AI/ML”. They then provide a wealth of tips on common pitfalls and how to avoid them with best practices. Forward progress of AI in health care, especially improving patient outcomes, will be accelerated by more people buying, reading, and apply the best practices from this book.
