AMBEDKAR’S INDIA is a collection of three of B.R. Ambedkar’s most prominent speeches on caste and the Indian Constitution. “In the fight for Swaraj, you fight with the whole nation on your side. In fighting caste system, you stand against the whole nation – and that too, your own.” “Annihilation of Caste” is one of Ambedkar’s best works in putting together how caste as a system has been eating up the roots of a rich cultural melting pot like India. “Bhakti in religion could lead to salvation. But in politics, Bhakti is a sure road to eventual dictatorship.” “The Grammar of Anarchy” reflects Ambedkar’s ideas on how we need to pave the way for Independent India. It reflects his deep love and aspirations for India and its people. “…the sub-divisions [of caste] have lost the open-door character of the class system, and have become self-enclosed units called castes.” “Castes in India: Their Mechanism, Genesis and Development” is an in-depth study of how classes went on to become castes and sub-castes to dot the Indian social system. This powerful narrative is a radical eye-opener.

Title: Social knowledge
Review: Dr. Ambedkar’s ideas are really very scientific and in the interest of the society. This book has been written with very high thoughts in which it has been written about many evils prevalent in the society. Which is not at all in the interest of the future of any civilized society. We need such a change in this society where everyone is equal. very very helpful book. Thanku Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar ji.🙏🙏

Title: Truthful and Revolutionary
Review: Ambedkar’s India is a set of three speeches that B R Ambedkar wrote and voiced out, written around the time the Indian constitution was getting built, regarding the intricacies and fallacies of the constitution and the caste system. These speeches give us a glance into the views of B R Ambedkar regarding the caste system that prevailed in the country (and still does 70 years later). It has three main speeches:1. The Grammar of Anarchy : The last speech of Ambedkar in the Constituent Assembly of India, it represents the love and respect Ambedkar had for the citizens of India, and his patriotism. He highlights the issues with a dictatorship motivated society, and the threat it poses to the common public of the country, eventually leading to the degradation in the name of flase democracy.2. Annihiliation of Caste : Quite a log speech, which sadly was never delivered, that spoke about the injustice that the caste system poses to the society, leading to stagnancy of growth in the country. The country’s rich culture has been stunted due to the division it has posed, wherein the educated section keep the professional to themselves, while robbing the other castes of an opportunity for a better future. Where a particular caste is shunned and banished from a neighbourhood, because they dared to use Pure Ghee in their food, which is considered to be entitled to only the higher sections, and hence considered an insult. We are all aware about the prevalent casteism in the country, and this speech really opens our eyes to the horrors that many sections of the society have faced due to their lineage.3. Castes in India: Their Mechanism, Genesis and Development : This is in a way an extension of the previous speech, it showcased the division of castes into further subcastes, leading to further social inorder in the country. Instead of enriching the culture of the country, these sub divisions have further split the country and led to unrest. My Views: I have never been a history buff, but I have always loved about reading the historical mindset of the country. These speeches were the first time I got the opportunity to read about Ambedkar’s thoughts, and at a time like that when the country was just stepping into independence, his progressive views towards the citizens of the country throws light into he wished the newly formed democracy to stay one, and not turn into another dictatorship (like the British rule). He spoke about quite a few things that stand true for the current politic-economical situation of the country, however controversial. His views about Caste system also to some extent stand true. While as a nation, we are trying to develop a more inclusive behaviour towards every citizen of India, it has still a long way to go before calling itself as a truly independent nation.

Title: Significant Book
Review: This must be a must read for every thinking Indian. The father of our constitution is a brilliant thinker and a man of integrity and it comes through in his writing. Its such a pity that he was not given his due and a tragedy the way it panned out for him.

Title: Gritty & Gripping
Review: Ambedkar’s India is a collection of 3 speeches of BhimRao “BabaSaheb” Ambedkar, the chief architect of Indian Constitution.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣🖋️ The Grammar Of Anarchy: The last speech delivered by him in the Constituent assembly of India in Delhi. It’s motive to elaborate basic meaning & importance of constitution’s role to the public of India. He explains the forthcoming responsibilities too.⁣⁣⁣ But let us not forget that this independence has thrown on us great responsibilities.By independence,we have lost the excuse of blaming the British for anything going wrong, we will have nobody to blame except ourselves. There is great dangers of thing’s going wrong.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣🖋️ Annihilation Of Caste: This Never delivered speech deals with how caste ‘system’ is destroying the rich cultural heritage of world’s largest democracy to the roots.⁣⁣⁣ Caste has killed public spirit.Caste has destroyed the sense of public charity. Caste has made public opinion impossible.Virtue has become⁣ caste-ridden and morality has become caste-bound.There’s no sympathy for the deserving.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣🖋️ Castes in India: Their Mechanism, Genesis And Development: Shows how caste which further led to sub-castes has slowly become to eat away the social order in the country.⁣⁣⁣ This sub-division is quite natural But the unnatural thing about these sub divisions is that they have lost the open-door character of the class system and have become self enclosed units called castes.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣Ambedkar’s India is a book that needs to be read to be believed. With a lot to take away from and a whole more to ponder upon. Delivered in simple yet impactful manner, it strikes right to the spine of the reader. The book also gives an insightful take on issues like Bhakti in politics, corruption and simultaneous growth of the social and political systems.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣Go Read with an open mind and more importantly, an open heart!⁣⁣⁣⁣
