Review: Our 1st grade teacher asked parents to purchase 2 activity books for the school year, for kiddos to have independent play time. We were looking for something engaging, and this is the book! The book may even be engaging for your 2nd grader, but our 1st grader couldn’t get enough of the activities. I added an aide to the crossword puzzles to accommodate his spelling level by adding the correct spelling of animals and other items on the crossword puzzles. There is a wonderful section in the back with all the answers, but I wanted him to figure it out without looking for the answers. I even added additional words that will challenge him to read through the whole list.Wonderful product! Thank you-
