लगभग 49 वर्षों के बाद, इस वर्ष राज्य की औसत वर्षा 600 मिमी के आंकड़े को पार कर गई। Radhey Shyam Sharmaमौसम विभाग के निदेशक ने कहा कि राज्य में सालाना औसतन 500 मिमी या उससे कम बारिश होती है। उन्होंने कहा, “कई स्थानों पर औसतन 1,000 मिमी और उससे भी अधिक बारिश हुई है। जयपुर में आमतौर पर 535 मिमी बारिश होती है, लेकिन इस साल मंगलवार तक 1,327 मिमी बारिश हुई है।”
मौसम विभाग ने बताया कि मंगलवार से मानसून की गतिविधियां फिर से शुरू होने की उम्मीद है और यह 16 सितंबर तक जारी रहेगी। नगर भरतपुर में सोमवार को 224 मिमी बारिश हुई, जो राज्य में सबसे अधिक है।
अजमेर और रायगढ़ में पानी कम हुआ भीलवाड़ा शनिवार से ही बाढ़ जैसे हालात बन गए हैं। सोमवार को अजमेर में हल्की बारिश के अलावा बारिश नहीं हुई।
शनिवार तक लगातार बारिश के बाद जयपुर में लगातार दूसरे दिन बारिश नहीं हुई। शहर में सुबह न्यूनतम तापमान 25.2 डिग्री सेल्सियस रहा, जबकि दोपहर में अधिकतम तापमान 33.8 डिग्री सेल्सियस रहा।
हालांकि, मौसम विभाग ने कहा कि मंगलवार को हल्की से मध्यम बारिश फिर से शुरू होगी। मौसम विभाग के एक अधिकारी ने कहा, “मंगलवार से जयपुर में 16 सितंबर तक लगातार बारिश होगी।”
